What's up with Huddle House here recently? One day they have one kind of food, then you can go back the next day and its different. Why do they keep changing their brands of food? We like eating there, but the past couple of times we have been in there our meat has been over cooked and our eggs under cooked.

the manager Trent that has been there for a long time quit recently. huddle house & fireside are having the same problems, so it is definately due to the owner Donnie since he owns both. i believe he needs to get his act together or they will both be going under soon.

We use to eat there every Sunday after church. It's been quite awhile since we have eaten there. The food just keeps getting worse. I don't know if it's the cooks or what but it's not that great anymore.

If I want Huddle House I go up to KY. Friendly people, clean and good food. I have not set one step in this Huddle House for a long time because of the poor serve.
I agree

I agree, I used to eat at Huddle House often, then all the food starting changing. I loved their chili, then it changed and was more like a paste than chili. Then portions changed, same price, less food. Same thing happened at Fireside, my family loved eating there when Monroe and Ella owned it. After the management switch, we at there maybe half a dozen times, food changed prices went up and quality down, just like Huddle House. Something needs to change or all their business will be gone. Used to go by Fireside and the parking lot was always full, very seldom see that anymore.
went in there last week

I ate at the huddle house friday. Fastest turnaround and best food I ever ate there. I didn't know they had been shut down. The new manager was asking if everything was OK and saying that they had new owners and management. It was really fast and really good.

Donnie Sexton no longer owns Huddle House, HE CHOSE not to renew the lease and sold HIS franchise to the new owner....Scott County, get your facts straight!!!! Fireside is ALWAYS busy with dine-in customers and catering....The prices have to go up because food prices have gone up everywhere, you people should understand that, but I'm sure, most of you use food stamps so that doesn't really bother you when you go to the grocery store!!!! Selling Huddle House was a great move on Donnie's part, if you smart people in Scott County knew what it is like to deal with franchise's you would understand, and might I add that it cost sometimes hundreds of thousands of dollars just to own a franchise, let alone pay monthly franchise fees off of your sells. Get the facts straight, if i'm not mistaken, Donnie has opened more franchise restaurants in the county, yet enabling employeement...these people like Donnie are called "entrepreneurs" hmmm!!!! JEALOUS???? and for the record, Huddle House never had a failing Health Department score...

ill be honest i have ate the old and the new of the huddle house and i thought it was all the same. but like coopertown said when you're going through marriage problems like he is he really isnt going to care what is said about him on a internet site. then again if he would have stayed loyal to his wife he wouldn't be in the situation he is in
