Most smokers seem like such selfish people.They have the gall to think they should have the right to smoke when or where they wish.Perhaps they could do this in the past but times changing and smokers must learn how to curtail their dirty habit.

Not to sound rude but how can you use the name "just candid"? The definition of candid is free from bias, prejudice, or malice, and yet you have a very bias opinion calling smoking a "dirty habit." You really can't say that just smokers are selfish people because non smokers are just as bad...I've been asked by a non smoker not to smoke in my own car before, you want to talk about rude and selfish...Most smokers have the decency to not smoke in a non smokers car

My 22-year old son has just brought a "friend" of his round to our house for his father to fix said "friend"'s bike. This person seemed a reasonable human being but I glimpsed him through the kitchen window smoking.

I can't express how angry I am. This person must know that non-smoking is now the norm, comes to my house, is done a favour, gratis, by my husband and commences to puff away on his bloody cancer stick in my garden. Unfortunately my husband does not want me to make a fuss and I know my son will hate me until the end of my days if I say anything, but inside I am - well - fuming! GRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!

What the £$%& do we need to do for these selfish bastards get the message?

I hate when people smoke around me...my boyfriend used to think that since he half owned the apartment we live in that he should have the right to smoke regardless of the fact that shouldn't I have a right to a smoke-free environment. We have a child now so he really can't smoke in the house. But it would frustrate me because my clothes would straight up stick of smoke.

No one want to smell you or your gross habit. Nobody wants to deal with your bull shit ash on the ground or cigarette butts full of poison being blown through our streets and forests. Am I selfish too? You bet. But for all the right reasons. I fully support the tobacco industry packing more addictive substances and poisons in their cigarettes. It will kill smokers faster and then we won't have to deal with them or their disgusting, deadly habit.

A smoker's defense is always that they have a right to smoke if they want to. Well, I agree with that. What smokers don't seem to realize is they can't keep their cig smoke just to themselves. When you smoke it goes EVERYWHERE. A non smoker has the right not to smoke, but our right is stolen when a smoker is around. Another defense smokers use is that they say they don't smoke around pregnant women or babies. That's great, but do you really think they are the only groups of people on the planet? What about the rest of us? Just please be conscious of where your smoke is going. You want to smoke fine, just keep it to yourself.

Okay, all this ignorance scares and infuriates me. Smokers should die? SMOKERS ARE NOT A RACE!It's a bunch of people who just happen to smoke. Some are complete tools and some are the nicest damn people you'll ever meet. Some spend hours picking up butts that aren't even their's to keep the environment clean. Some people might donate to charity, are selfless, kind but are miserable inside and feel the need to smoke. I don't think I have specail rights but I do think that any phsyco that would wish death on somebody because they smoke is a waste of space in themselves. It's you assholes who polute the world and make it a terrible place just by being stupid and unempathetic. And how would you like it if I said, I hope you get blasted with second hand smoke so you can die and we'll be rid of ignorance! You non-smoker nazis are just as bad as the smokers that blow smoke at babies.
