wow...what happened...didn't they have 5 affiliates at one time? Oh...they suck and all the stations they were affiliated with think the same.

I can't believe they're still on the air. I've found their comments NOT those I'd ever want my kids to listen to on the drive to school.

I stopped listening to them about 8 years ago when their egos became huge. Now they think they have a radio "empire".

You guys are all stupid. Todd and Tyler rock. And they have never advertised that it's a family show, Nasty. You people just can't take jokes the way they are meant.

Unfortunately T-N-T are about as good as it gets on free radio. The good stuff is on XM and Sirus. Soon enough the close minded high brow bigots will be forced to deal with fact and be able to hide behind censorship of the truth.

I just found that their jokes were lame, not offensive.

The reason why there are two affiliates is because there are morans as radio directors. Burlington had great ratings but the retards decided to play 24 hours of music. Boise was the same situation. It would be a good idea for any of you ass clowns or haters of the Radio Empire to do your research. TNT Radio Empire will get its affiliates. TNT Radio Empire will be back in Vermont and will gain affiliates. It would be nice if some program directors would have some balls and put those guys on some more stations.

weren't they on 6 stations some time ago? I think all those stations dropped them after realizing how idiotic Todd and Tyler are....if they had such good ratings, they would not have been dropped.

The rash of affiliates dropping had nothing to do with ratings. The ratings were doing well. But the management decided that music in the mornings was better for the direction of their respective stations. Since they made the change each station's ratings has dropped.

Personally, I think it's unconscionable that management put focus groups ahead of actual ratings. Ratings is what drives everything for radio stations - first among them is their ability to charge more for advertising.

TnT are ratings magnets but it takes a few weeks to acclimatize to their brand of humor. Once you do it's difficult to go back to a more "normal" radio format.

Ratings are only half of it. The biggest part is selling advertising and they aren't getting the job done. The show has changed. Over half is political rather than topical. More so by Tyler driving the show with his views. He thinks he is middle of the road but that really isn't the case. He constantly interupts and insults any other views different from his own. Craig who is more middle of the road used to pipe in and he doesn't do that much anymore. It just isn't worth the brow beating he gets.

My opinion is that Todd's stories about the outdoors are funny and Tyler can't stand them and always diverts the subject back to call Conservatives, Catholics, or Husker fans stupid. Funny maybe once or twice but how many Uranus jokes can you listen to and still be funny?

When you alienate, by constantly calling them stupid, a good section of your audience what advertiser is going to want to run an add after 30 minutes of that? You better have some huge numbers and while their numbers might be somewhat respectable it just isn't enough to sustain the show in those markets. They have been on the slide even in Omaha for the last few years. Same thing has happened to other show in the area.

My opinion is they need to muzzle Tyler and have more Todd and Craig and go back to topical subjects and leave politics more out of it. Politics is on every turn of the dial and liberal rants are dying all over the country.

I stopped listening a few years ago... maybe 5. Just degraded from the good old days. They were good in their time, but not everything lasts forever.

That sounds kind of bigoted and arrogant, to me.

Remember Diver Dan and Otis 12?
No...and most won't these days.
TnT have been rolled over by their own hype. Their parent company owns a few stations in Kansas...so, they get to have their show there. Empire? Nah, just another way to eat into the music...
Oh..and do we really need them jabbering 8 hours a day? Why not try....music!
