I agree, Rick. Kinda sounds like horseplay gone wrong. Maybe under the influence? Of course, neither of us was there so we shouldn't judge the guy. Don't ya think?

we can either judge the cop or the manufacturer of the gun that allows it to fire when dropped. However, For handguns it would have to be both loaded and the hammer would have to hit the firing pin so you would have to drop it directly on the hammer. Modern firearms have safeties to prevent this from happening. So I conclude he was drunk. And being a cop, Im sure he won't be tested by his own department, some jobs come with benefits.

And just think, these(cops) are the peeps that are going to enforce the 3' distance you'll have to keep away from bike riders. Hell, they dont even run radar anymore.
Reason: Unenforceable. Hey, maybe they can sit at a computer and watch cameras like the military does w/ drones. Wonder what the new excuse(unenforceable) will be then?
