richard--you're a piece of crap/adulterer...are you still with the person you couldnt live without and are now going to jail as a result of your selfishness?
I hope the wife feels his extramarital affair was a present in disguise....hopefully she will move on with her girls and feel better than she ever did while with him!

I'm having trouble figuing out what the crime is. The guy is pure dirt, I certainly agree, but the state of PA doesn't have an age limit for when you can leave children alone for any length of time. There is no problem unless something bad happens, like a fire. At that point, I believe(could be wrong here) that the charge would include endangerment, since there was a danger. The medication seems to be more of an issue. Giving adult medication to a 9 year old might be prosecutable. So the jerk admits to the issue that cannot be construed as criminal and refuses to address the issue that can.

Either way, it's good that his wife knows now.

Wow. What a piece of trash. I guess that other woman must have been 'worth' it.
And if she knew that was what he was doing in order to go see her...shame on her too. She's trash too.

He does not deserve to have those children. He does not deserve to have anything.

The Child and Youth Agency told me that the cut off for kids staying home alone is 13.

To watch other children the child must be at least 14.

Just a little education I got when some neighbor unskilled in problem solving/dispute resolution used to "fix me good".

If that is the case then the ones that need to further educating themselves are the case workers at the children and youth agencies..When living in Allentown my brother asked the agency what the age was..Him and his son got out of school and work at the same time so my nephew would make it home before my brother. He was 12..They told him it depended on the child and how responsible he was..My nephew was alone for only a matter of 5 or 10 minutes depending on traffic..They told him there was'nt a problem unless something occurred..

That is very interesting when most daycare places do not want kids that hit age 12.

What are parents supposed to do with the kids while they work?

This guy is scummy!!!!

I often wonder how people this stupid are able to reproduce. We really should make people get a license to be able to. We need one to hunt and fish but not reproduce. Sad.
