How do u find time to gossip here and still pray...
Sounds phoney to me...
another false prophet? way to many of them
go bk and read ur bible...
Yeah I was right, it's the Sameolestuff from one thread to the other. Pray was not gossiping, if you read their post they were trying to say nice stuff and change the thread to something more POSITIVE. So please quit being such a jerk.

Now I hope you enjoy your nice chilly April day. Maybe I gave you some food for thought. Please try to be nice to people and not so negative. Tomorrow is Good Firday and Sunday is Easter, lets try to enjoy it ourselves and get along.

Framed, What would you suggest, other than prayer, if you are good to your neighbors and they plot evil against you? My comment was meant to you. I read it correctly and responded likewise. Please answer my question, how do you propose to spend Bath Countians tax dollars. And I have to agree with SameOleStuff, you sound phoney. Are you one of the ones who have been dipping into the taxpayers funds? And why bother with two screen names, you are only confusing yourself.

If you are talking to me, I didn't do either, sell or buy votes, I take my right to vote very serious thank you very much. My vote is not for sale and I was not involved in any of the political races last May. I feel what has happened in our little community is being justified and things are going to improve. We are ALL getting a second chance to help out our county and towns, even by the smallest details, Like being nice to our neighbors, not turning our back on corruption. Anything big or small as long as we take a part in where we live. Stop being whoa is me, I'm poor and can't help. YES you can. we all have a voice and if you choose too live here then stand up and be noticed or just say something nice to someone, open a door for someone at the post office, let someone out in traffic. It's these kind of things that mean something to people. Don't be so NEGATIVE and MEAN SPIRITED. We all need to stand together if you want things to change. I have seen this county do wonderful things for people. We need to focus on these things for awhile. Let the media know we refuse to be the butt of their stories. Let the next time we are in the news be for something to be proud of. Especially if you had a part in it. Off my soap box!

I think you are the one confused. I know who Trying to Be Positive is and although I'm really liking JUST PRAY and what they have to say...they are two different people. Oh and thought I'd mention I'm not either one of them lol. This is so confusing lol.

They really were trying to be positive...something everyone else should really consider trying. Lighten up. There may be good things on the horizon for our tax dollars. Did you hear the rumors about all the Judge Ex. candidates? I heard a lot of good possibilities! Smile...for once things really aren't so bad!

I have no clue what you are talking about. I'm using only one name. I misspelled Positive the first time I posted and I corrected that. No you did not read my post correctly. I only said that Main Street would soon receive a face lift from grant money> The only reason I mentioned that it wouldn't be from funds from the county so people wouldn't think that it was a waste of money that could be used elsewhere. Grant money can only be used for what it is applied for. I DO NOT and HAVE NOT had anything to do with the elections or the money taken from the county. I'm disillisioned about it as well but I was trying to get people to be more optomistic about our county and step up and take a part in it, even if it would be the smallest thing. I wholeheartly believe that we are getting ready to see new changes and GOOD ones at that. Including cleaning up and rounding up or at least running off all the corruption, drug lords and whatever other nasty stuff that has gripped this place. I know people have mentioned the payroll tax and believe me it has effected me as well. I did some research and all the surrounding counties(I'm not sure on Menifee) have the payroll tox even poor little Nicholas Co. I think if we had seen the money we have paid into this being used for our benefit we wouldn't have as much a problem with it. I feel that once our new officals take over we will see it eventually being used. I for one plan to ask that we be told how and when it is being used.

Now I know how you feel about the drug dealers and childern. I have one I send to school everyday and I pray everyday that he comes home safe and has not been exposed to that rubbish. I would advise you to call the KSP when you think that these dealers are in your area. Get pictures or get it on video of them dealing. You have to have proof. I don't doubt your word, I have heard this and seen it to some degree for years now. But we must take a stand to protect our childern and make this place a safe and good county to raise our families. If the KSP won't work(I hate saying this) call one of the media outlets(TV-Hearld Leader) try to stir it up for dealers, put them on the hot seat. I would like to see them all go to jail but if it means making it hot enough for them to move out of our county then so be it. Start a neighborhood watch program, let the dealers know that we are watching and we don't like it one little bit. We must educate our children and let them know that these people are scum and that there is a better way of life. I will do some research on programs that we can get here for our children. I know the schools have a few like DARE and the drug dogs. I refuse to let the place I love and call home die. I am not a PHONEY, I am the real deal. I am a just a concerned and very optomistic Bath County citizen. I am sorry that you took my comments as any other thing.

Can't we all just chalk this up as a learning experience and move on? Hey world: Bath County screwed up!!!! There, it's out. Move on, get over it, learn from what happened, and don't repeat the past. Funny thing I saw on the History Channel the other night: A documentary on Jim Jones and the People's Temple. There was a scene where all the followers were lying dead, including Jones, and the camera zoomed in on a plaque that read, "Those who not remember the past are condemned to to repeat it". Take that to heart people.

Oh I just wanted to add, I will no longer be responding to any post. I tried to start a good discussion only to be misread, misunderstood and I feel like I have been kicked in the teeth, So with that said Good Bye to all. I wish you all the best. I'm not giving up on the place I love. I wasn't born here, I chose this place and I'm staying for better or worse.
