How was the $100,000 dollars of tax payers money spent?
As for your statement, "Royalty means to me making all the important decisions without asking anyone else's opinions or ideas.", I'll second that.

<quoted text>I do not hate the Swartz's at all. I'm just sick what they have brought to my community. If you go to Louisville,Covington , and Lexington people will ask you about the problems we are having here in Bath County.I don't know if Sonny is guilty of buying votes. But I have went to enough fiscal court meetings to know that he has got a lot of our money.Neil is the President of Swartz Mowing Company so he is the one that is getting all of these bids that our supposed to be bided out to everyone. When a company as big as The Walker Company stops giving us the service we need to have quality roads for safety , then it has went way to far.Mike Swartz ,( Sonny's own nephew ) ran for judge to try to fix the problem. That says alot to a person of my limited education.I don't have a problem with there cars and trucks they drive. Royalty means to me making all the important decisions without asking anyone else's opinions or ideas.Sonny took Nancy Hutchinson every where he went before she was hired to be the suprintende4nt of our schools. I think we all know how that has worked out for us. Another $100,000.00 out of the tax payers pocket. Sonny has had a hand in one way or another in spending alot of our money. That is acting like Royalty to me.Go to the next fiscal court meeting , read the newspapers and you will feel just like me. If your hand isn't out getting some of the run off from these people. I would be for the judge not putting these people in jail. If they would say there sorry , and pay some of the money back so we can stat anew.I believe there are alot of people that needs to be in jail for worse crimes than has committed here.I just want them to stop this from happening again. We as a community went through this 4 years ago in the papers and court system. Well they didn't admit to no wrong doings. This time the big boys ( FBI )are here , and are not leaving until Bath County has a good bath.

It is so sad to hear and see that Bath Co. has so many wicked, evil, stupid and ignorant people. Just what was they thinking? There was undercover people here around election time watching and knowing what was going on(hello)they knew that this was going to be a big election. Those that was involved and done wrong you need help, you need to pray and pray and hope you don't have a heart attack and die to leave your families here to worry about you did. Go to church SUNDAY MORNING get on your knees and pray to GOD for forgiveness.

I am an honest and hard working induviual who works in BATH CO. they take out anywhere from 15 to 20 dollars of each check to pay back the money that Mr.Swartz had Walter to buy and yes i know that all most all counties have that tax and this tax would not bother me if it wasnt for paying somthing back that did not help this county one bit and everybody talked about the land they put a down payment on for a new school and they was going to put another down payment on some more but a Maze stepped in and told them they couldnt get a right away to it i am not saying the mazes are great ppl but at least this one stopped more of our money from going down the drain to another Swartz buddy.

My goodness, nobody has a clue to what the real truth is to this whole ordeal. Was there vote buyin? yes, did the accused candidates do the vote buying, yes.. but pullin in sonny swartz into the whole thing was wrong to do. Does he support certain candidates in elections? yes, but he never once paid ne1 to vote for one candidate or another. Ask nebody with ne reputable status and they will tell u the same. He never saw ne of that money from the school board, which with the proper documentation i can prove. He has only provided jobs for over a hundred workers this past year, not only to migrants, but to regular bath countians. This so called bid stealing or w/e, thats a joke. Swartz Mowing has the same right to bid as low as they want to to get a job, and so can ne1 else in this freakin state. Just because they can do a job for less, finish the job, and even take over jobs others could not fulfill, dont be accussing them of wrong doing. These people who think he is a bad man have no clue of the importance of him on many bath countians and their families. You all need to wake up.

I totally agree with scum stopper. Our school board has done a very good job. The mess that was made before Mr. Miller and Mr. Hughes came on board cannot be fixed in one year. I am amazed that people get on here and slander everyone. People in glass houses shouldn't cast stones. If scum buster owns a bible, he/she needs to read Matthew 7:1. Good evening.

It's a matter of time before our good sheriff is shackled and taken away. Hopefully they will take his deputy's also.

Vote buying has been going on in this town for a very long time. My opinion is that every official elected in the last 50 years won by buying votes with money, liquor, and even fixing roads around where voters live in order to get their vote. I hate to see the "poor" ones take the fall for the big shots. Most have young children to care for and all, because they aided in what has become a tradition in this county, they will lose their freedom. Walter has always seemed like such a nice person, too bad he got mixed up with sonny. He owns how many farms? businesses? cattle? tractors? I know a few of the guys that work for swartz mowing and they are just trying to earn an honest living, something alot of people here have no idea what the definition is. This county has always been about who you know or who or kin to, a good ole' boy kinda county. other than that, i like living here. Most people are nice even if they aren't the most educated or clean. I's like to see how many family members of officals draw food stamps, some how they get precidence over others that are in need also. maybe we can have another election to vote in people to fill these jobs. I'm just wondering how they are going to buy votes. Because most in this county will not vote unless they are recieving something for it. It has just become natural around here. Well, i've rambled enough.

I have slandered no one but have been slandered because of the anarchy which exists in this county. I own a Bible, and furthermore, officials took their oaths with their hand on God's Holy Word and swore to abide. I don't know any of these people, but I can tell you one thing for sure, there is filth like none I have never seen before in this county. Please do not uphold them.

Ya, i sure hate people who have worked hard to get where their at, through hard manual labor and a little self drive. Not... I sure hate those guys who open companies and create jobs for a hundred bath countians..not.. Come on, Sonny has did nuthing but good things for this county, and walter has tried hard to do wats right for this county. I dont kno wat the worlds coming to when a good man gets accused of false accusations just because hes a little wealthier then certain other people. Seems like some people are just clueless to wat all Sonny has did to this county.
