Boy is charged as adult in slaying

A Montgomery 16-year-old was charged as an adult with first-degree murder Thursday in connection with the fatal shooting of a Park Forest teenager last spring, authorities said.

another sad day in park forest.i remember in the 70's and 80's.places like park forest,sauk village,cal city,chicago heights,dolton,south holland,olympia fields,matteson,richton park,hazel crest,crete,country club hills,monee were almost all white and very safe.schools were good and had very little trouble.now today thanks to giving the bad blacks section 8 a piece of the pie all these areas are very bad and i can't pick up a paper without reading something bad that happened in these schools and communities.

im his little brother and i do think i would Know my Brother. Change places and see how you handle it and as far as somebody getting whacked it's typical of young black males to go around killing one another on some gossip. Seems like, back in 1970, when i graduated Rich East and left Park Forest, i had no idea what would slowly take over . I remember driving thru several times, the mall looked emptier, the Jewel closed. Remember what a sociology experiment it was in the beginning, it is, once again a poor lesson for all of us now.
