For the first time in the 35 years that I've lived in Oak Forest, I saw no flags posted anywhere but for a few on the gazebo by City Hall. In years past, we had flags on all our main streets to remember our fallen heros. I feel ashamed for our town that this was not a priority for Memorial Day. By the way, I posted this on Patch yesterday but the comment is gone today.
