EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR A REASON. THE OFFICERS DID NOT GO LOOKING TO DO HARM TO ANYONE. IT'S FUNNY HOW A MUGGER CAN SUE THE VICTIM FOR ATTACKING BACK AND IN THIS CASE, SUE THE CITY FOR SOMETHING THE SUSPECT DID TO HIMSELF. BUT I WILL LEAVE THAT FOR THE COURTS TO DECIDE. I'M JUST SAYING THAT IF THE FAMILY IS DOING THIS TO PROVE A POINT AND NOT SO MUCH FOR THE MONEY, THEN THEY WILL HAVE NO PROBLEM DONATING THAT MONEY TO A CHARITY OR A FOUNDATION. BUT ODDS ARE.. THEY'RE GONNA BUY A NEW T.V., CAR, OR WHAT EVER IT MAY BE.

Maybe it was the best thing he could have done for his family? The guy probably had put his family through a lot. He is in a place that he deserves now...good or bad.
