To ohh posted as Knoxville, get real if you were from Knoxville why would you care about os youth club. Come clean and put your name on here that is if you have the balls. It's easy to sit back and call people names hiding behind an alias name of ohh. Does that OHH mean OHH I'm scared I'm going to get my ass beat for calling someone a bitch so I will say it when no one really knows who I am. And for this Brandy Brown, you must be an involved parent who takes time away from your busy schedule to support other children not just your own. That's why people like to talk shit. There just too damn lazy to get off the couch and get involved but wish to talk down about those who do.

I heard OSYC went to the Roane Co league? If that's true I am sad to see that. My son plays in the Tri-county league and playing OS is always a good clean game. Great coaches and players. If it wasn't so far for practice I would change to OSYC...beat of luck in the new league!

the reason why they had to go to roane county league is because the united way and the TSSAA said the tri-county was corrupt and roane county had to take it over.

I'm not sure about this. If Tri-County was 'corrupt' wouldn't all the Tri-county teams be changing? Actually, the league would stay the same but the council members would change.

Regardless, it stinks. OSYC has been in Tri-County since long before I played for OSYC.

They regulate them. TSSAA makes the rules that OSYC and Tri-county league must abide by. Kinda like the SEC make the rules for UT.

tssaa has nothing to with the tri county league the tri county uses some of the rules by the tssaa but not all of them the number one reason why we left was money just hope we left for the right reason as of right now we have no promise for playing basketball or baseball harriman and rockwood does their own intercity league and plays dixie youth baseball which is not really baseball or should i say it is not what we are used to playing
just curious

So what does that mean for OSYC? Will there be teams this coming year for basketball or softball/baseball? What teams belong to Roane County? Thanks.

Does anyone know when and where Roane County Youth Club meets? Are they still voting about letting us play next week?
