I'm new to oak ridge and I'm looking fir mom and pop places to eat. Are mountain pizza and hot diggitey dogs owned by the same people? If so is mountain pizza any better than the hotdog place? I've read some bad stuff.

Yes, owned by the same person. I've had their pizza and I thought it was great. A friend has always brought it over though and I haven't actually eaten IN the restaurant, so I can't attest to the cleanliness of the restaurant itself, but my friend has never had anything bad to say about it. Their pizza is fantastic, in my opinion.

I love their food. The place is clean and the people are nice. They have a buffet everyday. I highly recommend this place. And the pizza is way batter than little Caesars. It's worth the extra money.

It's not a bad place for Oliver Springs.

The menu is basic and caters to the Oliver Springs demographic which is Appalachia people with simple tastes.

My preference is genuine pizza that has more of an italian, NYC, Chicago, or real flair to it instead of Americanized redneck pizza shop menus.

Oliver Springs and Oak Ridge needs more diverse restaurants. Sadly, the whole area has become redneck over the years that lacks culture or any successful business mind doesn't want to deal with rednecks, so they either try in Knoxville or move away to larger urban areas.

People are cheap in Oliver Springs and won't pay for quality food.

Lincoln's Sports Grille is a rich man's redneck paradise.

LOL!

The owners are good people and very fair. They are very clean and trying to make a living like everyone else (my relative used to work there). They have a carry out special on Tuesdays. Their pizzas are sooooo good and never greasy and nasty. Give it a try!!

I recommend it. Also some of the items besides pizza are good also, such as the sandwiches and fries. The owner and employees are always very nice to me, maybe bc I'm a very regular customer lol.

I've never had the hot dogs, but I know for a fact that Mountain Pizza is awesome. I've been eating there for years now. Good prices, good food, good people working there.

Don't believe everything you read. Go give them a try sometime. I doubt you'll be disappointed.

Why do people make up stuff to feel important? how can feel important and superior when you post using a false name? Do something constructive if you want to feel good about yourself. volunteer, donate your time to help others, open a door for someone who needs a hand, smile at someone, a simple gesture can mean alot to someone who needs it. Mt Pizza is a great family place. Andy and his family are good people. the food is awesome and I love to see his kids doing there homework or helping out. It's nice to have a family place to go and enjoy. so instead of saying "well, I read on Topix " go check it out.
