Isn't that the only kind that moves to Olive Hill from Ohio? Either running from their reputation or to get a bigger welfare check.

I have never been on welfare and dont plan on being on it ever but if I need help at some point in my life Id like to know there is help out there. Anyway, I never heard of welfare being higher in some towns but not in other. I have known people that have been on welfare way before Obama came into office and they never had to pay a penny back not only that but 1 girl I knew was on it the whole 8 yrs the bush was in office and she kept collecting without having to pay back. I hear she has 9 kids now prob still on welfare. Im not sure where this Obama-welfare stuff is coming from but he didnt start welfare. If you knew anything about history youd know that. For example HUD started in 1965.

I'd like to know also where people get this idea that Obama started welfare. They must be listening to Donald Trump--who by the way should be tarred & feathered. But I do know that SSI & welfare is higher in some states (not towns) than others. For instance, it is very high in CA because the cost of living there is so high. And I have a friend who lives in OH & she said she just wished she drew as much SSI as is the maximum around here. She is truly totally disabled--legally blind--& worked as long as she could & still doesn't draw as much as the deadbeats around here draw!

Your Congress did that. Obama is not a King, this is not England. I never said you blamed Obama for starting welfare. I hear people blaming him all the time. I know plenty of people that were collecting checks for many, many years before he even took office and never had to pay a penny of it back and they were not disabled they were just lazy. Not only that but SOME of them drove nice cars and had babysitting jobs that paid them cash plus they collect welfare and made 14/hr babysitting cash. I never seen Bush put a stop to any of that nor Congress.

It still amazes me that whenever OBAMA is brought up BUSH has to come into the conversation. Why does everyone still have to use Bush as Obama's crutch? Is Bush's legacy so great that all Obama does has to be compared to Bush? Please enlighten me.

Bush's legacy was so great he was not even mentioned at the Republican Convention. Even the republicans are ashamed of him!

Actually there was a 10 minute tribute to him and his father at the convention. It was quite touching. Plus, get real, he was mentioned quite a bit. However, not mentioned at the republican convention quite as much as he was mentioned at the democrat convention. Please know your facts before you spew fiction.

I blame that Obama for being the biggest presidental blunder. in our history. it took our whole history to get to 10,trilloin in debt. it took him 4 years to add 6.7 trilloin more. and still not cuase any work for anyone i know. exept at the welfare and foodstamp office..
