But it is a kid I know. You must not know him or you wouldn't feel that way. The Bible tells us to forgive. If we cannot forgive a 15 year old boy then who can we forgive? This kid didn't just decide to go to church. He has been going for a while. Sometimes we have to get knocked down in order to allow the Lord to pick us back up. We are living in scary times, but this was just a mistake. So the kid made a huge mistake, went to jail, got saved and now everyone is suppose to have sympathy for this kid?! Amazing. No one made him do what he did. He should be punished to the fullest extent. If it was another kid that you didn't know, you wouldn't be acting like he's ok now. If it was my kid, they'd rather have the school punishment. I have kids in 3 schools in olive hill. One does go to WCHS. I felt bad for her when she came home scared, now she acts like its normal to have a bomb threat. It shouldn't be that way. There may come a time when something is more than a threat. I pray that never happens, but it is possible. He may be a great kid who decided to do one of the dumbest things of his life, but he should still pay the consequences. Good people do dumb stuff every day. I hope he has learned a very valuable lesson and hope he decides to stay with The Lord once all this has been scooted under the rug.
