Stick to the subject....if half that grant money used for the nice picnic tables and such at Hop's park, would have gone to usable courts, like I'm sure he would have wished, you could hush your mouths and show 'em what you've got, if you have anything left to show. Show some respect for all those real players from the past.

Thats what it is everyone is jealous of a below avg. ball player, thats been to prison. I swear sometimes I think you're retarded.
come on !you obviously have nothing better to do than talk crap about people and yes i have been to prison .so does that make me any less of a man than yourself? No,and at least i faced my problem myself and did my time for my crime .this is something that most of olive hill people would NOT do.they all would bla,e thrteir crimes on someone else and or RAT people out that are no less of a person than themselves. So keep up the nolen bashing because you know what ?all it does is give me more encouragement to be a better man and not someone like you.I will pray for you and yours ..later and GOD bless.

Hey Clark Hill, yeah I have to agree with you on Arnold Greenhill, I had him for teacher, and coach when I was in the 7th, and 8th grade. i had him at the old Olive Hill elementary building, and for half year at Soldier.
You know we didn't have a regular schedule, but we almost ending up winning the Carter Co. tournament. We were playing unbeaten Erie when they had Tae Edison, they beat by one point, but we beat ourselves, that was the year Lawton won it all. Don't know if anybody remember that, if anybody does, I like to hear from you.

My opinion for boys
1. Shay Berry (could really play ball)
2. Casey Lowe (great shooter, dribbler, passer. made everyone on the team better)
3. Jeremy Webb (good shooter but should have used his height more in the low post)
4. Jason Greene (was all time scorer when he left high school)
5. Dave Jones (good dunker at shot blocker)

LMAO!! This team the best ever? Somebody knows nothing about West Carter basketball.

Lowe was the best I've seen to play at West Carter (holds record for points-all time). The 98-99 team he played on with Roger Paynter, Brandon Boggs, Shutte,... was the team to watch. I was young then but truly remember loving that team. Roger Paynter was awesome too

He only had around 1000 if they did lose 1 year which sound crazy to me. He would have need over 900 more to pass casey lowe.

Randy Salyers was a great player in his time. John "Cornbread" Gilbert was probably the most underrated player. Kandi Brown was the most unselfish girls player. Thats what made her great...could score, play defense, rebound, and get her team involved. Annette Messer was a great one in her time as was Brenda Carpenter. There were many great players at WCHS....sad thing is, many didnt go any further with it.

Ya john gilbert was a great player. I would say Burt Greene was the man. The truth is alot of guys and girls have played at west carter that were good and look at what we have done i dont understand way. Sure the girls won the state one year and have been to the tour. a few times. But in 30 or 40 year that all we have to show. I know we have had some bad coaches but the kids think there so badaxxes and there not. There alot to pick from on the guys side because they never got the job done. Kandi Brown would have to be my pick on the girls side.

good players but bradley walker he couldn't jump over a loaf of bed. i know middle school kids who could take him one on one. by far the worst player to ever score a thousand ever. he has to be the most overratted, michael hollingsworth would have to be in my top 5 could really do about anything.

yes kandi brown is the greatest girl's player ever and always will be. but you cant compare girls and boys basketball, they both play the game at different levels,
