Kenny would probably be the best council member to take over out of the ones that were re-elected.

The mayor of Olive Hill only makes $600 per month for all their mayoral duties. If you could devote the time to be a "Full Time Mayor" and feed your family and pay your bills for $600 per month, then DO IT! There's no way! Danny was/is a good mayor and man who was set up by a crooked system. He needs the community to rally around him in support or we will end up with the likes of Jim Short.
Furthermore good for Danny for working a non union job. Unions are only for lazy dumb people. Not Danny! He's a hard worker with a family.

You're obviously confusing the term "set up" with "caught red handed". No one planted it on him or made him sell it. That was a personal choice. The fact that the buy might have been planned by law enforcement is irrelevant. He still had it and was more than willing sell... and in a school zone. Also, you insinuate that he is "smart" and union workers are dumb. Well, he was obviously dumb enough to sell not just anywhere, but in a school zone, which automatically makes it a felony regardless of the amount. This casts serious doubt as to his intelligence or his ability to run city government.

Kenny Fankell will do a much better job running the town of Olive Hill than did Danny. Danny did nothing for our community, you can just look around downtown and see the blight that he allowed on his watch. You're absolutely correct! it's time to take back our city from the hands of the drug dealers and people who wanted no more than what the city is currently -- a burned out blight. Kenny will do what the townspeople want -- he will work full-time, Those who say $600 a month for Mayor is too little are't really worrying about the town... Being mayor is a privilege bestowed by the citizens of the town -- a privilege to serve. Danny only demeaned the community and those who had questions. Change is happening -- the truth is coming out -- our town will turn a new leaf.

Any time I have ever read anything from the city council meetings, Kenny has always put the people first. He may have stood alone on some votes, but he didn't knuckle under. Go back and look at online issues of council meetings. Judge for yourself.
The people have to come first. While running the city is a business and money is the main concern, he has always voiced concern on how it will affect the citizens.

Noone becomes mayor of a small town for the money. They do it because they want to better the community. Sparks had his chance, and look where we are. Either you are the solution, or part of the problem. I say Sparks had shown his true colors. It is now Mayor Fankells time.

He looks like a fine canidate for Olive Hill. Real bright looking in that picture on wchs news. If his eyeballs would just look both ways at the same time, he could watch out for corruption on both sides.

Everyone else is trying to build this town up... how about you step up and join us. Or are you to busy using/selling?

Former mayor Sparks sells pot and his namesake daughter was caught with a meth lab in her trailer. Our town has gone to hell on his watch. Yet you complain about the new Mayors appearance? The man is ill. With citizens like you for support, our new Mayor has a hard road ahead.
