I am not Louella's EX husband. I am still married to her.(We are separated because I would not be a babysitter for Luke Bryan's son(now that I've mentioned him by name, see how long it takes him to get this thread removed, as he doesn't like people knowing what a tw@ he is).

I think maybe someone is confusing witchcraft and Catholicism. Personally, I'd say witchcraft was preferable. I've heard Louann's new husband is a bit of a bible-basher. Like all fervent religious minded people, he will be doing his best to convert Louann and her kids to his way of thinking, ie brainwashing them.

Yes Jack's character leaves a lot to be desired. He does fancy himself as a ladies man and has great difficulty keeping it in his pants. Perhaps that's not so much a fault of his, as the morals of a lot of women in Olive Hill, who think it's okay to date a married man.

Main reason he and his new wife moved to Guatemala was because Louann TWICE tried to have him killed.She had one boyfriend plant a bomb in his car, and then another boyfriend tired to hire a hitman to poison him. For the sake of his kids, Jack did not press charges. Simply got the hell out of Dodge.

As for Shannon Lykins, there has been a previous accusation of abuse centred around her, though NOT including Jack.It did not result in legal action as far as I know.

Work it out for yourself people, or wait for the court case. There was no evidence found against Jack the last time Louann tried this, and the police have failed to find any evidence this time, taking more than a year to investigate the alleged offence.

The court case, when it finally happens, will look at the evidence/lack of and psych evaluations of both Jack and the two people who gave witness testimony against him. Other peoples' opinions won't count, unless people on the jury have already been swayed by some of the comments on this site.

So I'll say it again. If you have facts, give them. Your opinions don't count.

notmissy, there is a lot you don't know about Nathaniel Tackett. I've heard stories from my wife, and also Jack's wife, about his abusive behaviour towards other members of his family, and strangers, both in Olive Hill and while he was in Guatemala.

The family does protect it's own, and for Nathaniel's sake has hushed things up rather than press charges. What goes around comes around. Nathaniel has recently caught the attention of the authorities, and is blaming his own abusive behaviour on abuse allegedly suffered at the hands of his father (whom he wants to go live with in Guatemala).

He and Shannon had unsupervised sleepovers at Shannon's house, and that's why they ended up as boyfriend/girlfriend. May have something to do with the previous abuse accusations surrounding her, though I can't be certain. As the eldest grandchild, Nathaniel was also entrusted to look after the younger grandchildren. That was a mistake.

You are making judgements without knowing all the facts.

I have to agree with Blair's posts here... And I'm so sorry to read that you are a victim of molestation. I was raped when I was 21 and never pressed charges, let alone tell my parents because of them embarrassment it would cause from people judging me because I was no angel back then. I felt so ashamed. I am a firm believer in karma because the man died from and overdose a few years ago. From what I know of Louanne, she is nothing but a very sad case with major problems who thinks her sh*t doesn't stink and everyone in Olive Hill knows it. I would like to state that my sister and I was around Jack when we were younger and he never once made us feel uncomfortable, even if we were the only ones around him. The neighborhood children always played at Louanne's house and yes, Jack would be there a lot. They never said anything about being uncomfortable around him and always went back to their yard to play and loved talking to Jack and so did my sister and I. I always thought he was a nice guy and was even supposed to work for him at his computer place when I was in high school, before it closed. I think the children should be left out of this. I'm not saying he never done any of the things he is being accused of because I wasn't there and neither were any of you. If all this is happening to Jack, Louanne should be proved to be an unfit Mother from what I have seen. I wish the family only the very best in life, especially, the children. I really hope the accusations made against Jack are completely false and who ever needs help in the family, receives proper treatment.

Other people start these threads trying to blacken Jack's name and convince others of his guilt, when they know little more than charges have been brought against him. These charges have yet to be proved. Yet some have made their minds up he is guilty without concerning themselves with any of the facts.
