Is Angie a total psycho or what? She looks like a crazed lunatic with her wild eyes. I think she is very out of touch with reality.

I think she is a religious zealot who means well. Some people think that God guides their entire lives & every minute when I personally think he leaves some of that to us. She seems to do a lot of good. Maybe if some of us had been through what she has we would be the same way.

Just a brilliant post, wondering. Give us your real name so we'll know your real agenda. Angie has a heart for God and many before her have been criticized as zealots. Many of us see your strange criticism as affirmation that she is doing good in the name of the lord for this community. Thank you, Angie for using those "crazy eyes" to see what so many can't.

Amen, Engine Ear! I can only aspire to be as Christ-like as Angie is everyday with everyone. She's a blessing and an inspiration to all who know her.

I think we need more Angies and I have personally supported many of her works. I also believe in praising God every day. I just don't believe in a constant intervention with Him. He gave our minds & free will to use as a guide in our daily lives. There have been many things in my life I could not have done without Him.

He gave us His word as a guide in our daily lives.

Prov 3:6 In ALL THY WAYS acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths.

Pro_28:26 He that trusteth in his own heart is a fool: but whoso walketh wisely, he shall be delivered.

Psa_119:105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

Psa_119:11 Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.

Psa_119:16 I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word.

Joh_17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

Psa_138:2 I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for THOU HAST MANIFIED THY WORD ABOVE ALL THY NAME.

I think you bit off more than you could chew. I think the posts that came after yours are testiment to her character, with the exception of one. It's true misery loves company but you're alone in this one.

Copying and pasting bible verses from a website no more makes you a christian than a person standing in a garage makes them a car. Also before you comment your religious crap, I do know in the bible it tells us not to judge others unless you want to be judged as well also says to love your neighbor and other things too. So instead of getting on a gossipy website and spewing your religious jargon, sit down and actually read the book. For it pretty much tells you not to shove your beliefs down people's throats and to mind your own business and let God handle it.

You want to condemn people posting scripture in defense of a friend, but not the inane, judgmental post that started this thread? Posting scripture is not "shoving beliefs down people's throats." You don't have to read it not does anyone else.

God's words have power in them. There is nothing wrong with quoting bible verses. And, I don't think he/she was shoving it down someone's throat. He/she has just as much right to quote bible verses and you do to rant back at him. It's called freedom of speech; first amendment constitutional right of all Americans. More than that, listening to others express their beliefs is part of loving your neighbor.

I bet you're a lot closer to being a car than you are to being a Christian!

My point exactly. You all sit and judge me for what I wrote. How do you know if I am or am not a Christian? Is that your place to judge? No it isn't. My relationship with God is my own just as each and everyone else. It irks me how easily people spout scripture to condemn others. I simply pointed out the verse in which it says 'Judge not lest ye be judged'. Which means that you should not get on here or anywhere and judge anyone (including myself) and use the word of God to do so. That is not what the Bible is to be used for. Also what I have written does not apply only to the person who obviously copied and posted scripture but to each and everyone of you who wish to pass judgment on a persons character. To spout scripture to pass judgment is wrong, is it not? I'm simply pointing out verses that this person and a lot of 'Christians' overlook. And again spouting scripture and insulting others does not make you a Christian. Think on that before you pass judgment on anyone.

If you Believe in God, Believe the Bible is His Word and that He is the Holy Creator of all things, why would you limit Him to be in only part of your life? I can't quote a scripture that states Christ was called a zealot, but He was mocked, criticised and still chose to be crucified to forgive those who rejected and despised Him. He also said those who follow Him and are crucified with Him will be treated the same way. Congratulations to Angie on pressing toward the Mark of the High calling of Jesus Christ, every moment of every day!

I think some people mis-interpret the word "zealot." In the dictionary one meaning is a sect of Jews who openly resisted Roman rule in Palestine.

Tit 2:11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
Tit 2:12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
Tit 2:13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
Tit 2:14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, ZEALOUS of good works.

I think these verses apply to Angie pretty accurately, as well as the previous verses I posted. She doesn't just profess Christianity, she lives it and it's inspiring. Mat_7:20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

Angie's done plenty of good works for your community--to glorify God, not herself. She is obviously His humble servant.

She has a good name and I think it's shameful that anyone would try to mar it in this forum. Pro_22:1 A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches, and loving favour rather than silver and gold.

To "i know"...sorry I copied/pasted bible verses again as it apparently upsets you. I could have typed them all out if it would have made you feel better but it's so much easier to copy/paste. ;) You're not obligated to read them, btw.

I don't know why you think I posted scripture in order to judge anyone. I posted to point out to C.O. that her opinion of God giving us a mind and free will to guide our lives wasn't scriptural at all, thus she was mis-judging Angie's daily, continual and 'zealous' walk with God according to her own opinion, not God's word. If we presume to know or speak for God, what we say had better line up with He says. We are to acknowledge Him in "ALL THY WAYS" (not just some of them) and Angie apparently takes full advantage of that. Good for her. She lets her little light shine...and it glorifies HIM.

Is this the Angie Johnson with short strawberry blond hair? If it is, I worked with her and she is not someone who deserves to be talked about on this site. Quite the opposite. She's one of the nicest people I've ever met.
