I too have searched the web and news in Tampa, Fl with no mention Dr Grey. I had an appointment with him in June, non-refundable airline tickets for two to Tampa. Something is strange about no news of his death. Will keep checking..
From what source did you get the 4/28/06 as to something happening? Thanks, RJB |
His office staff advised me that he died on 04-28-06, but they could not give any details, they said they didn't know what happened. |

Was this all a scam? Does anyone know if he really saw any patients?
This was not a scam. I have spoken with one of his former clients and had nothing but good things to say about Dr. Grey. I called the medical association in Tampa, Fl and they advised that he did die and it was not of natural causes. It is a tragic thing but it was no scam. |

No it was not a scam (his office that is) I had my surgery in march of this year and found out last wed. that my wife and I are having a baby, I live in Oklahoma and I too did alot of research on him before making the appointment. The surgery was tough but affective. Just last friday we called and talked to his staff and him and informed them of the good news with our pregnacy, then told them to add us to his list of people with positive testimonies. Then tuesday of this week we went to the website to see if we had been added and thats when we saw the news of his death, I have called the newspapers and his office but can't get any details, I am curious at what happened. Any information will be appreciated.

Well at least it's good to know it's not a scam so thank you for responding. When I called the office they had no idea if I would get the deposit money back. Has anyone heard any differently?
I too asked about my deposit and the lady at Dr Grey's office said that his wife would refund the deposits but it will take sometime. Nothing more on that except his death was not of natural causes so I am sure most of you can put together as how he died. It is a tragic thing for such a talented man. |

i found an article, stating that Dr. Grey had committed suicide on Friday after being found guilty of malpractice, for leaving a guaze pad inside a patient after surgery. I find this difficult to believe, because Dr. Grey performed surgery on me in Feb. 06 and he was very professional and caring during my surgery. My heart goes out to his family and staff, I truly believe Dr. Grey was an outstanding medical doctor and he will be greatly missed.

Dr Grey performed a reversal on me 5 weeks ago today. I was very excited for this week to come, in that this is the week I could resume most of my normal activities. I had called his office on Monday morning to ask a few questions from the nurse who attended. When I found out that he had passed, I felt horrible. I have nothing but the utmost respect for Dr Grey and his staff. Regardless of what has transpired, I believe in my heart that this man had a heart of gold, was every bit the consumate professional, and was meticulous in everything he did. I have a hard time believing that he was responsible for the damages he was found guilty of. Dr Grey, may you rest in peace and your family, staff, and friends be held up in God's hands to be comforted and carried through these times. I will forever hold a place for you in my heart.

Ronnie,
My husband had surgery in March as well. May we contact you to ask you some questions?

For anyone who hasn't read the article (it's hard to find)... http://www.sptimes.com/2006/05/04/Hillsboroug...

Dr. Grey hung himself on Friday night after losing a court battle for malpractice where he was ordered to pay a patient from 2002 $1 million. |

We had surgery scheduled for August with a down-payment and non-refundable flight tickets. We met Dr. Grey personally for a consult. I am very upset about how his office handled themselves with me. They barley provided any information. I'm so afraid the phone number will be disconnected and we will never see our deposit again. Is anyone else doing anything like hiring an attorney to make a claim in his estate or anything? Please give me your thoughts.

Considering everything that has transpired, you will be alright, his office staff is very professional and I'm sure they will make sure all deposits are returned. I have had nothing but excellent treatment by Dr. Grey's facility. Dr. Grey performed my surgery in Feb. 2006. I know there must be alot of confusion at his office right now and it will take time for his staff and legal counsel to go through all the paper work and make sure all monies are returned to the rightful people. |
