Food allergy is serious

What this chiropractor is practicing is
1. unsafe--claiming this method can "CURE" a food allergy???
2. not medically accepted
3. NOT changing the allergy response by 'mimicking' an allergen
4. unethical!
What a waste of money for this patient. If this actually worked, there would be a huge insurgence of clinical trials--and now, NONE. WHY? BECAUSE it's NOT scientifically proven. There are TONS of research that goes from desentization techniques WITHIN a controlled clinical environment to Chinese herbal remedies that is undergoing clinical human trials to 'cure' food allergies. THIS, this hook up to a computer is NOT a treatment. EDUCATE. RESEARCH. LEARN. Don't get caught up into 'cures' that simply are NOT.

First of all, no alternative treatments for anything are medically accepted. The medical field and the alternative health field are not associated together. Second, there are no clinical trials for most alternative treatments unless they are independent studies--the medical field refrains from doing trials or studies on alternative medicine because it's not "scientific" enough. In other words, there is not a chemical that they can trace anything in your body back to because no chemicals are used as when drugs are used. This treatment has been used in Australia for more than 10 years if you do research on it. The US is wayyyy behind in many alternative treatments that have been very successful for a very long time elsewhere. You should do a little research or educate yourself on alternative treatments as a whole before accusing someone of doing something unethical or uneffective.Or you are in or love the medical field yourself--if that's the case I pity you and your support for the "tested" yet harmful chemical drugs that everyone so easily eats like candy and later find out they are taking it off the market because it's harmful or deadly. You're either open to alternative health or you are not. If not, stick to your drugs and leave the rest of us alone to live healthier lives.

From experience, I totally disagree with Singapore. I have suffered SEVERE allergies all my life and took allergy shots until finally they just were not effective any more. It was then that I was introduced to a chiropractor that practiced the BioSet accupressure system. It rid me of my allergies!!!
I had a sinus infection because of all the Afrin I was taking to breath so I went back to the allergy doctor at Kaiser for antibiotics. He gave me a blood test for allergies and confirmed that I had none.
This computer test that was mentioned is the most accurate test of all for allergies. I have been tested three ways; skin test, blood test, and computer. Their sensitivity goes in reverse order. I compared the computer results with the other results. The results were the same as to what I was allergic to and how strong I was allergic to various substances. The computer test listed a few more items than the other two.
The way the computer test works is this. All living things have energy patterns. These energy patterns have been mapped and fed into the computer. A metal transmitter is held in the patients hand. The computer then generates different frequencies and the patients reaction is recorded.
In conclusion, in my personal experience, BioSet accupressure definately works. It works better than anything else I've tried, and it is safer. I needed 8 treatments my first year trying it. I only needed three the next two years. This is because I have suffered allergies for so long my system naturally tends towards them. It is kind of like a tire that is worn badly. Once it goes bad it tends to keep going that way. It takes a while to re-balance your system.

One word of advice. My chiropractor moved to Utah. The guy that took over his business knows the techniques, but uses a massager on the pressure points. It is not the same. His cure only lasts a couple of days.
