Old Town could save money by not plowing the sidewalks. I walk mostly all winter and usually walk on the side of the road as the sidewalks,if plowed, are usually icy,or filled with water, or too rough to navigate.

Then homeowners who have their driveways plowed leave hurdles on either side of the driveway which you either have to climb over or go out in the road to go around them.

So, as I was walking today, thought why bother to plow them at all.??
