Remember that the house on sale is not Kate's house. It is a house that was built on land that once belonged to Kate. The house she lived in was demolished when it became inhabitable. While the outside of the new house bears some resemblance to the original, the inside does not. Kate would detest the inside as it is now.
I lived in Fenwick for over 30 years and was in Kate's house many times. I'm sorry this "recreation" has been built. It sure doesn't fit in the place I loved so.

I'm glad you shared that Patty although these days in this fast moving society not many people will know who she was. I'm surprised they are still trying to use her name to sell it. You could also mention her house stood there empty for years and that the new version has been vacant for quite some some time now. Didn't Obama's people check it out a while ago?
