My friend was right there as they were going out the back door, her co-worker had left one of the crates open when they were brought in to the store. But there could have been an accident at the docks too, I wouldn't be surprised! This would be the 4th generation, I think, Phyllis, not the 3rd. I'm not sure what their life-span is. It's been listed as anywhere from 15 - 20 years or 25 - 30 years. Their eggs hatch in round 24 days. I don't know how old they are when they start breeding, though.

The birds are very pretty, but they talk loud and do a lot of Pooping. Good to see Lynne back. Good luck to her. Go in Peace and Praise the Lord, Amen.

If you want to take some good pictures, walk through Milford cemetery. These parrots love it there. There's an entrance on Cherry St., across from the church on Gulf, or the other side, Propect, by the railroad trestle.

When looking up at the birds, keep your mouth shut, or you may get poop in it.

The way I heard it was they were on a boat of banana cargo from So.America that docked at Turbana Banana when they used to dock in Bridgeport harbor.

Uh, ok, it appears as if you are talking to yourself, not that it surprises me or anyone else.
