Of course, Marty´s food sucks.
Try Westbrook Lobster, just a little further down Route 1 (you can one place from the other, nearly), but across the Clinton line.
Frankieś is pretty good, though.
My wife likes the ribs there.

Martys became Rays and Rays became Harbour Seal.
There is another Marty's that opened up but it is not the original one.

One month, three days after opening, MARTY’S DRIVE-IN, located in Westbrook (CT) just down the road (US1) on the right from the original Marty’s of legend. Out for a movie and needing a quick bite to eat, we pulled in,(turned around to be exact) after first noticing the sign in passing while on our way to find a place offering something in our hurried rush, but with the ability to WOW our taste buds!
WELL, WOWED WE GOT!
Not only did we receive excellent service in a timely fashion but the food was out of this world! Truly, an unexpected find. Tasty, fresh and marvelous. The lobster bisque was smooth with a few nice chunks of sweet lobster and a mild piquancy!
THE CLAM CHOWDER IS A MUST!!!!! If you like a zestful, peppery flavor, chuck full of savory chopped clams then this chowder is it! It is unbelievably delicious; scrumptious! We’d go back ‘just’ for the chowder; “made fresh every morning at 6:30” says, June, the owner. Gigi, the hostess/server was very hospitable; the entire staff seemed very friendly.
Saturday, May 23, 2009, MARTY’S will be holding a block party. It’s BYOB and appetite!!!! The food is sure to please! The fries are ‘just right’, crisp and tender….tasty and light; the scallops fresh and sweet….the whole belly clams fresh, sweet, tender and delicate….perfectly done. The coleslaw was worth having a double serving of.
Check this drive-in out! Eat in or out, or, take it to go. This is sure to be a shoreline favorite!
Don’t forget to check out the block party, Saturday May 23rd……..LIVE MUSIC 1-6 p.m.

‘OUR VIEW’,
“This is a great place to eat, a real shoreline treat!”

Welcome, we'll see you soon.
with thanks for a great meal and getting us to the movie on time,

Does anyone have a menu for the new Marty's? Just curious how different it is from the original one. I had a few favorites.

Stopped in the so called new harbour seal family resturant today to get a few hot dogs and food. I ordered 3 dogs togo and got charged $ 6.25 a piece for 3 chili dogs, plus they didn't even put the chili on the dogs. I waited 45 min. for my order. After complaining about the price and condiments on the side for that price, the owner put the crap on the dogs. Not to say being rude over the matter. After getting ripped off. I took my order out and started to eat them on the road. I took one bite and this dog was the worst one i ever tasted in the world, wound up throwing them away. Don't get ripped off like i did. Pass this place on by. This guy should be put in jail for serveing slop. This resturant should be closed down by the board of health. The address and name is Harbour Seal Family Resturant 110 Boston Post Road, Clinton Ct.

Daily Horoscope for December 23

Sagittarius

Slow down! You're trying to do too much and it's driving you - and everyone else - up the wall. What's more, if you're in too much of a hurry you'll start to become accident-prone and that will make you even more het up. Try to take any setbacks or domestic mishaps in your stride, otherwise you'll end the day feeling like a nervous wreck.
