If the USA would get rid of its stinking drug addicts, a lot of violence would end around the world. The US should not send billions of dollars to aid countries in the war on drugs. They should keep the money here and fight the war on addicts or round them up like cattle and send them to Iraq.

So, El Pasoan, will you be turning yourself in or does the government need to round you up like cattle and ship you to Iraq.

Don't forget the "behind the scenes" politics. Treating/Curing addiction is VERY profitable in the good ol' U.S of A and lobbyists always get their way when money and profits are involved. Fighting it would cost money and dealing with it makes $$ for the doctors and pharmaceuticals involved (not to mention the politicians).

Why is everyone so hung up with the stupid idea that because there are drug users in this country, drug dealers are sprawling all over the world? There are drug dealers because there is a drug market and the US isn't the only market or the largest one. People who dwell in this idea may think that because a girl wears a mini skirt and a thong she is at fault if raped.

That's already in place my friend... Its called ARMY RECRUITING.. Be all you can be!!

As soon as they get out of ghigh school they're oof to Irak,..

unfortunately the kids that end up in Irak are mostly from poor areas of the country where there are no jobs opportunities. A lot of them have history of drug problems and the school districts they come from are among the worst rated in teh country

I am with yoour train of thought I am a Republican and I well that the money we send will not even be used for the purpose intended therefore we are waisting our tax payer dollars once again.

you're right... drugs are consumed all over the world... but the US is the largest consumer.. Almost 80% of all drugs in the world are consumed here.

Just read the comment aboe your.. If no drugs where imported from Mexico, of Malaysia or any where in the world.. there would still be stupid crackheads that would have their own "homegrown" pot of "home-processed" cocaine or "home-manufactured" meth..

He'll figure out he can sell yo his friends, and his firends will sell to other friend and new Cartel will be created.

As long as we are addicts, there will be a drug war.

If anything for the most part, they killing each for terrority. Let them (drug cartels) take care of there kind.

The people that are dying are the ones involved for whatever reason. Selling it or consuming it, only gets you dead. By all means have at it!

Democrat or Republican, makes no difference if you don't support border enforcement. Sane people, who care about the U.S., who have friends, family, etc., are at the point of dropping down and begging their elected officials to stop the mayhem coming from Mexico. Yet, Democrats mainly, with some open borders Republicans in Congress, keep taking away money from border patrol and police, who are near to the border. P.S. You who can't see how sick and treacherous this cr-p is, are deluded beyond help. An intelligent citizenry would threaten to throw out the whole Congress, Senate and the President. Some want to but you open borders loons won't stop your treason.

Don't blame the people who are addicted. That is irresponsible. Addiction has a biological as well as psychological basis. Blame the administration and the phony two party system for not protecting the youth, who by defintion are implusive and foolish. Most youth are. Where has the idea gone, that adults are responsible for the youth? It takes a village. Phony a-- liberal democratic idiots. Talk is cheap.

Daily Horoscope for December 31

Gemini

You'll need every ounce of patience today because even the best-laid plans could go up in smoke under the Full Moon lunar eclipse. It seems that certain people are doing their best to throw spanners in the works, and the more annoyed you become the more they'll goad you still further. If there's dissent in the ranks about how to spend New Year's Eve, you may decide to go your own sweet way and prove that you're an individual in your own right. But try not to let any bad feelings mar the celebrations. Have a fantastic night!
