MS. KAY JEWELL DOES IN FACT LIVE IN MARINGOUIN,LA. IN FACT IT IS OUR CORRUPT POLITICAL SYSTEM THAT DECIDED TO JOIN IN AND PREVENT MS. JEWELL FROM BEING A MAYORAL CANDIDATE. ALL THE JUDGE DID THAT DAY IS CALL THE CITIZENS OF MARINGOUIN "STUPID" AND SAYING THAT THEY COULD NOT DECIDE WHO THEY WANTED AS MAYOR FOR THEIR TOWN, WHICH MY GOSH IS IN DESPIRATE DANGER OF FALLING TO CRIME, DRUGS, AND MOST OF ALL CORRUPTION.

You kinda wish things where different now, I'm sure. Maringouin is a sorry ass city with good people in it. There are people living in Maringouin that will not shop in Maringouin, and Boben's with those stupid ass prices on everything. I try to support small businesses but I can't at that store. But that's another blog... I personally feel Kay would have been a better choice. But it just goes to show you how fucked up the legal system is. Kay and Matt does in fact live in Maringouin the Parish line run behind the house they live in half of the property is in another parish and the house is in Iberville in the town of Maringouin. As a matter of fact they pay two taxes one to each parish. Go figure. Don't get me wrong I like Mayor Overton but from a business stand point, he's not educated nor poised enough to run a town.
They allow all of the historical buildings to be demolished. There's not a new town hall, they put down a sewer system which did not meet EPA standards and left the people in the area where the processing pit is off of the system yet the town supplies the water to those same people, then they had the nerve to charge those people a sewer fee every month on the water bill, yea the ones that's not on the sewer system. If they are not pissing and shitting in it, why should they pay for it?
Kay, hang in there we will need you to clean up the mess later...... After the law suites!
