I hate to see the Lewisburg store close, I've shopped there since moving to Lewisburg in 1989.

The way it's going around here I'll be forced to shop at Wal-Marts.

Kroger has been raising their prices since they put in gas service, now Wal Mart will to.

My wife and I hit the 50% off sale they're running until the store closes (thats when they run out of stuff).

We ended up spending a little over $800.00, but other than milk, bread and fresh produce, we won't have to go shopping for a long time.

My upstairs family room looks like a quick mart, I had to purchase a couple cheap storage shelves to put everything up off of the floor.

I was there Friday and there isn't much left on the shelfs. What mainly is left is the stuff way over priced that even at 50% if still about what the regular price is at other stores. They had boxes of crackers for 3.99 and up. Some soups way over priced. Saw 10 oz can of chicken and rice campbells for 1.79 or a regular size candy bar was 1.79 the big candy bars were 3.99 and most of the candy/gum (which has not sold at all) is way over priced. small bags of candy bars are 7.00 and up

Lots of the good stuff is all gone though. There may be nothing left by your payday depending on when you get paid. They are to close Feb 15 or when everything sold.

I bought over $66 worth of stuff. The prices on the shelf were the original prices or msrp. there were not many food items left but I did load up on cleaning supplies and food dog food and other shelf stable items.

I too was there and most of the food was gone, but I did stock up on non food items. the 50 percent off made it a good deal :)
