Good grief. Isn't this horse dead yet? Here are some of my posts that WIVB removed from their website tonight, in response to their 'news' story. People kept bringing up Mike Cejka, so they actually shut the thread down. Is this really NEWS? Or is this more mudslinging, for the sake of controversy and appeal? Such a poisonous well, this media malpractice - will it ever run dry? Will their anonymous tipsters ever get their hands caught in the cookie jar?

WIVB is one of the most unethical, hypocritical news agencies around. Their own weather Mike Cejka is arrested, TRULY with his pants down, in the wee hours of the morning and with a tube of lubricant in his front seat, but they don't air one second of coverage. Yet this, they slap on their website as the lead story. THIS STORY IS NOT NEWS. It is disappointing and unfortunate, but it is not news.

The Buffalo News agrees - WIVB sucks. They have turned into the Jerry Springer of local news broadcasts. http://www.buffalonews.com/entertainment/gust... . And this newest addition Ed Drantch can't hold a candle to the veteran newsman they let go (with the exception being Cejka).

I don't have to be there to tell you what happened. Ladies room packed. She follows her friend into the men's room. They both come out. Police over react with no proof so they charge the most heinous of crimes and hope it sticks. They ruin two great teacher’s lives without a care in the world. SCUMBAGS!!

The report said Cejka told patrol he was on his way to work in Buffalo from Clarence, and wanted to stop and check out a motorcycle he saw in the summer.
