Well since he was arrested by a Park Ranger he comes under FEDERAL jurisdiction which means he has to appear before a FEDERAL JUDGE.

i agree with most of all of the comments. None the less, he is innocent until proven guilty. he will have to appear before the federal judge in oxford. The Rangers take their detainees to the nearest jail when arrested on the trace for processing. He posted bail. As far as being place on paid leave, this is the same as if any other public employee such as a school teacher. If he was fired, and then found not guilty, he would sue the city for wrongful termination. I agree he should lose his job, but in due time after due process.

There is plenty wrong with drinking and driving as you put other people at danger and could kill them. My neighbor got 20 years for killing someone while he drove drunk. Police get paid to set an example. It is not a licence to break the law. You sound like an irresponsible person.
