I know this is a long shot but I will try
Early in the 70's the John Deere dealer in Lake Park sold metal detectors.
I was visiting realitives near town and I lost a wallet in a filed that was being plowed
I had to pick up something at the J. D .. Store.( Jannsens ?) on the Main Street up near number 9 highway and the guy loaned me their detector and I was able to find my wallet because it had my fire department badge in it in a 80 acre feild.
Since then I have been using a metal detector as a hobby.
Does any one remember their grandparents buying the detector a long time ago.
I have found many valuable items in all these years but have never been able to get the name of the detector company..
Thanks for reading this note
