Nah, I didn't say christianity was violent. The Koran commands it's followers to kill and destroy those who reject Islam. The New Testament, the Testament born again christians are under, says do no harm to others. You don't even know the basics.
I know how last night went. You two.....there is nothing more to say to either of you. You can put 1000 links and still have nothing to prove your point.
Justaminute - you're so dumb. I clearly stated what names I was using. I am top hat. To make a joke, I used your name and said it was me. Then, just to mess with you, I used kiss my gizzard(or whatever it was). It's not as big an accomplishment to point all that out. I flat out told you last night.
That is why those other two screw with you like I do. None of your crap matters. My dog was covering his ears because of your shrill.
Take care, you two. Have a good one.
"Nah, I didn't say christianity was violent. The Koran commands it's followers to kill and destroy those who reject Islam."
>Since The Bible also commands followers to kill and destroy those who reject Christianity, and you claim that this is hat makes a religion violent, then you ARE saying that Christianity is violent.

At least you admit that The Old Testament is wrought with violence, but let's examine the New Testament. What exactly would Jesus do...aside from asking his followers to drink his blood and eat his flesh? LOL

"Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
And a man's foes shall be they of his own household." -Matthew 10:34-36

So Matthew "reports" that Jesus is not into peace but he brings swords.

"And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear you, when ye depart thence, shake off the dust under your feet for a testimony against them. Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city." -Mark 6:11

Mark says that Jesus promotes illegal immigration and those that oppose him shall face torment worse that Sodom and Gomorrha.

"19:27 But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me." -Luke 19:27

The peaceful and tolerant Christians either loosely interpret these passages or ignore them completely. The same is true for peaceful and tolerant Muslims. There are extremists in almost every religion. That doesn't make them representatives of the whole.

I'm sorry, but not all Christians are violent. Not all Muslims are either.

Hi, Tamara. My husband's heavy pain is over and saying he's glad he had the surgery. But I hope your pain is not at the stage that you want this. If you have it, I hope you have someone who can really devote at least 3 weeks to wait on you, cause you'll sure need it. And it really tries my patience, because he sure was not a good patient. I love him, but he's a really fussy baby but starting the last couple of days he's got back to some semblance of normal. He actually smiled a couple of times.

Did you see this story on the news?

A little old lady that needs constant care is having to live in a hospital because they can't discharge her.

She is Polish and must have come here 60 or 70 years ago. Illegally. Her husband who provided for her is gone. Her kids can't take care of her. And the hospital can't discharge her and cast her out on the streets because that is against the law. She can't get medicaid or medicare because she has no papers, so nursing homes won't take care of her. She is in legal limbo. Don't say send her back to Poland because she has no one there now. And so far the hospital bill is well over a million dollars and counting.

Yeah sure we support the troop!

VA Disability claims Backlog top 900,000

Thanks to budget cuts and personnel cuts so we can give those millionaires and billionaires their tax cuts our soldiers living with disabilities are having to live without the aide they deserve.

Yeah, join the military, fight in our wars, and we will be there for you! NOT

Of course, Romney wants to give them a voucher. Not worth much, but maybe he'll spring for a ticket to Paris. After all, that's where he spent the Viet Nam war. Yeehaw!

Thanks for the update. Been wondering how he was doing. The last couple of weeks I have been wondering if I wouldn't be better off having surgery. But the recoup time is a big factor. I barely got thru foot surgery. As for your husband being a fussy baby, aren't most men. Not all but the majority of them are. Has he started physical therapy yet? I do appreciate the update.

I saw an update on the story. The hospital paid for her to be relocated back to a hopital in Poland. No family. Sad story BUT

It turns out there are hundreds of Americans in the same situation.

They call them Permanent patients.

So when you call for privatizing Medicare we are going to have millions stuck in the hospitals because they can't go home, they need 24 hour care, their old and have no money and they outlived there retirement funds if they had them in the first place, and millions don't.

Most elderly living in nursing homes that are paid for with Medicaid. That's a fact.

Nursing homes are not required to treat you whether you have the funds are not. Usually the payment for nursing homes take a combination of retirement funds, medicare and medicaid.

You don't have to have PT for this surgery. Problem is you can't pick up anything over 10 lbs. for months or anything off the floor.

At first if you pick up anything barely heavy, you really feel it in your back. And you are really laid up for a couple of months. You have to take care not to do anything and follow the doctors order to a T because because you really need the bone to regrow and if it doesn't, they will surgically have to go in there and clean it out again. Those rods they put in there are just a temp measure till the bone grows back.

Chalk up another exhibit for "Supply-side Jesus".

Of course, it's just outside of Dallas.

Largest Private Aquarium in a Church?!?
"On Friday I met with the Pastor of IBOC (Inspiring Body of Christ), which is a vibrant, growing church located south of Dallas.

Four years ago, they approached a friend of mine, Greg Barron, to build them a new building. Not just an ordinary building, but one that people wouldn’t hardly believe. One that’s God-sized.

Barron Group of Companies (one of our design build clients in Texas; and a fellow member of the National Association of Church Design Builders) was awarded the contract. A $40,000,000 3-year contract.

This aquarium is a 75,000-gallon salt-water facility, and cost almost $5 million to build, and roughly $250,000/year to maintain. But of course, this is just them being a faithful ministry.

Deficits are Republican specialties. In fact the last knuckle head you had, Cheney said 'Deficits don't matter!'
But no President since Reagan has had a larger deficit.
Republicans are so lousy at governing that you are not going to see the White House for a very long time.
It will be fun watching Romney try and walk back all the crap that he had to say to get the Rep nod.
He already has. By saying the interest rate legislation should be extended so student loans don't double. That's walking back the Ryan plan that wanted to let this legislation expire.
Because Romney said he supported the Ryan plan while Repubs trying to get elected are trying to walk back their support. But we are not going to let them get away with it. Every single one of the Repubs voted for the Ryan plan. We are going to hang you guys with it.
We have to get the House back now since voters didn't show up in 2010. Now they gotta look at how Republicans don't compromise and get legislation passed I'm sure they will be thinning the Herd in the House. Especially since they don't have anything to show for their 2 years there except for getting the US credit rating lowered.
So don't you guys run away. I am so going to enjoy this election.

I hope you believe this bullshit because it is not selling on this thread, in Oklahoma that will definitely go Republican nor will the common sense voter buy it in November. They gave Obama a chance and he failed miserably. He will be fired this time around.

More response of above reply to Justaminute's post #18603 on last page -

>Doesn't make a rats ass what Cheney said, he is not running for office of any kind so he is irrelevant to this race. This race is all about Obama and how he has created more debt than all presidents before him, has done more to divide this country than any president before him and is the worst president in the history of this country including Jimmy Carter.

>Obama has and you can damn well believe that message will be repeated over and over and over and over. President Reagan isn't running either so he is irrelevant too.

>That's your opinion and I disagree with you but like I said DREAM ON while it's free.

>With a debt of $870 BILLION for student loans alone it needs to expire and beat the living hell out of all responsible for letting that happen you ignorant dolt!

>You ignorant dolt, the Ryan Plan is all that will save this Nation because Obama has it so far in the ditch of debt now it is going to take years to ever get it out if we ever do. If you think more Government spending on entitlements is the answer then I am positive you are a complete idiot.

>Too bad for you that isn't going to happen you ignorant dolt and many more will not show up to help you all this time either. Democrats did not compromise and in fact 30 pieces of legislation passed in the House and Harry Reid a Democrat in the Senate will not let the Senate vote on any of it and if you think you got your ass kicked in 2010 then you will really be startled to see what will happen this time around. You all were saying the same bullshit before the 2010 election and how did that work out for you? The Senate will now go to the GOP, watch, and then things will get done and all common sense folks will be better for it. As for the liberal cause, screw you, we have seen that since Obama was elected and it broke us, lost our good credit rating and his class warfare is destroying this nation! Obama the uniter has turned out to be the big blowhard divider that did nothing but spend and spend and spend until now this nation is broke.

>I am not going run off I have enough money to stay and in fact enough to never have to work another day in my life. I am sure I will enjoy the outcome of this race more than I did in 2010 and I want to laugh my ass off at you ignorant dolts. This race is just getting ready to start and it only gets better until November 6th gets here then is will be hilarious.

This will be a referendum on Obama no matter how much you don't want it to be. According to the Obama team now they are begging donors to send $5.00 each to help finance lies to spread around all the Universities because it doesn't look like the young voter will bother to vote this time. They are very pissed off at Obama and feel like he failed them. The bottom line is it doesn't matter who really gets elected for me because I have made my money and plenty of it so personally is doesn't affect me no matter what happens. It is a shame that Obama has destroyed the future for so many others and that hope and change bullshit was just that, BULLSHIT!

Senator McCain said that the Republican war on women is a made up charge by the Democrats. Of course, he would like to ignore what the House and various Republican state legislatures are doing:

- There were over 1100 anti-choice provisions introduced in 2011

- 900 anti-choice provisions introduced so far in 2012.

- Legislators in 13 states have introduced 22 bills seeking to mandate that a woman obtain an ultrasound procedure before having an abortion

GOP response: What war on women?

GOP Tries To Water Down Violence Against Women Act, Expresses Willingness To Tolerate Some Domestic Abuse

Senate Judiciary Republicans to unanimously vote against it because they object to its protections for LGBT victims, immigrants and Native Americans.

Grassley has now teamed up with Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison (R-TX)“offer a substitute that would address GOP concerns with the bill.”

Although the full details of Grassley and Hutchinson’s watered down protections for domestic violence victims have yet to be released, it is likely that they will map Grassley’s previously stated opposition to providing greater support for LGBT, undocumented, and tribal victims of domestic violence.

The Hutchison/Grassley amendment will likely leave out some victims who face particularly harsh discrimination. If Senate Republicans embrace Grassley’s earlier objections to reauthorizing VAWA, they will show that they are willing to tolerate a certain amount of domestic violence by ignoring certain victims:

Missouri GOP Rep. Says Federal Student Loans Gave America ‘Stage Three Cancer Of Socialism’

At a debate over the weekend, Akin, who is running for Senate, said involving the government in the student loan process has given the government a “stage three cancer of socialism”:

AKIN: America has got the equivalent of the stage three cancer of socialism because the federal government is tampering in all kinds of stuff it has no business tampering in.

You know who else wanted kids to go to college?

Roy Blunt Falsely Blames 'ObamaCare' for High Student Loan Rates

Blunt is likely thinking of the Student Aid and Fiscal Responsibility Act (SAFRA), a bill that was attached to the Affordable Care Act. And while it did not affect loan rates, it did remove banker middlemen from the student loan process, which will save taxpayers millions of dollars.

Nice, Obama and Hitler want kids to go to college and the Government pay for it!

Thanks for clearing that up. First I thought he was after Socialism but from what you say he is after converting us to Communism. Sweet, wonder how that will work out for everyone? Will everyone get uniforms too with Obama's picture on them?
