If you don't like "fire safe cigarettes" it should not be a problem. It's your choice to buy them or not, nobody is making you buy them.

what a farce! these things burn away in an ash tray, but if you have it in your mouth & don't hit it enough it will go out. kind of a smoking deterrent, but for stopping a home fire???? maybe..

not really, all they have to do is remove the chemicals added that act as accelerants.

the only downside, is that we won't be able to use them as time-release "fuses" to set off firecrackers, anymore.
