The Oklahoma Land Runners!!
That would sound much better than the Oklahoma Supersonics.

First of all. The Sonics are not moving to oklahoma. That is stupid moving a team to a city with hardly any people compared to Seattle. Oklahoma does not deseve a NBA team so I will call it the Seattle Supersonics.

I concur, Okc doesnt need a crappy NBA team. Okc is a joke when it comes to semi professional sports and yet they still try to ram it down our throats? Oh my.. YES we have a hockey team.. Ok yeah ok.... Next we have a football team, hmm arena football? LMAO lets not forget about the mmm baseball team? What are they like single A? Oh my yes SELLOUT CROWDS.. the damn arena only holds about 15,000 and over 80% of tickets are subsidized by corporations and local businesses LOL LOL Its a joke... NBA owns the team names for marketing reason's, unlike other leagues. That is the reason Utah are the Jazz, they used to be N.O. Jazz. Charlotte Hornets are now N.O. Hornets. Sac. Kings were the K.C. Kings, Minnesota Lakers became K.C. Lakers and are now L.A. Lakers. So, when Seattle moves to OKC they will be the SuperSonics. It is not as dumb of a name for OKC since we are third in the nation for the aviation industry with the aeronautical center for the FAA located here. Most people just cal them the Sonics, that fits too, Since OKC is the world headquarters for Sonic Drive-ins.

If you did ANY research on the subject, you would know 1. nthey are moving 2. they supported new orleans at a 98% attendance rate and 3. they have legally petitioned leaving the team name and colors to a future franchis in Seattle. I don't care for Basketball. I have more fun when the Oklahoma City Blazers play. Here's my opinion, re-locate the HORNETS. Ain't no way New Orleans can support the Saints, and the Hornets. Plus, the owner of the Hornets loved it while in Oklahoma City. Let the Seattle Sonics move to Kansas City.

Actually a Sooner is a person whoset up inside the boundaries in an effort to stake their land prior to the start of the land run. Boomers are those that actually started with the actual start of the procedure.
