You should be concerned about cosmic rays too.
They're from a galactic smart meter attached to
the dark side of the sun. Concentrate closely looking
at the sun and you see the truth.

Aliens are coming for you. Disconnect your smart
meter now so they won't find you.

The US government doesn't consider cosmic rays a carcinogen.

I hope when aliens do come, that they find you first. Then there would be no danger of them believing that Earth had intelligent life.

Every cell in our body contains the human genome which encodes 40 voltage-gated K+ channels , which are involved in diverse physiological processes ranging from repolarization of neuronal and cardiac action potentials, to regulating Ca2+ signaling and cell volume, to driving cellular proliferation and migration. Life is energy.
The question is, how could anyone think "smart" meters wouldn't be harmful. I can see how War for Oil and Thomas a might think that, since for all they know, we're just a sack of muscle, bone and blood and a speck of brain...that magically move around..

Aber has accumulated a great deal of science and knowledge about this subject. I would challenge WarForOil to study up on the "science" involved rather than just throwing around insults.

It would be incredibly refreshing to hear some real science out of either ThomasA or WarForOil rather than just snide remarks and bullying. Why don't they present irrefutable proof that RF Radiation is incapable of damaging cells, altering the cell structure during mitosis or meiosis, presents zero harm to fetal development, or can exacerbate health issues with those with compromised immune systems?

Its easy. Because there is none. RF Radiation is a carcinogen, meaning that it interferes with those processes.

The utility companies, and GE and Cisco etc. are electricians and engineers and tech people who pretty much know nothing about anything but computers and machines…and don’t care as long as they make a profit. Mostly they are like War for oil and Thomas A and are just ignorant. They scoff and make fun of the science of cellular metabolism that is affected by “smart” meters.
The safety study that was made on "smart" meters and cell phones was to show they didn't heat tissue. Duh.
It’ll be interesting to if see the American people allow the government and utility companies to continue to bulldoze these things into their homes.
The government, GE, Cisco, etc. and the utility companies evidently thought they could stealth deploy these things before anyone heard about them.. but word is spreading. And people are wising up to how inadequate TV news is and how their rights are being stolen from them.

Security concerns during the cold war may have led to the generation of misinformation on the physiological effects of microwave radiation from mobile phones (and smart meters).
The shutdown of normal open microwave research in the U.S. and the misinformation placed in the literature appears to be collateral damage of the actions of people who saw themselves as fighting a war. And since the research was not allowed to proceed in the normal fashion, we don’t have the set of data needed to determine if there is a health hazard of mobile phone use—and, if so, how serious the hazard is. This suppression of research has now made hundreds of millions of people subjects in a grand experiment that may involve their health, without their informed consent, and the outcome of which can have substantial medical, legal, and economic consequences.(And detrimental mutations are carried on into future generations, forever.)

They haven't tried to prove the safety because it's been known for decades that "smart" meter and cell phone type emission are harmful.
The FCC is supposedly going to make some studies aimed at proving safety.... while at the same time working to force more cancerous emission on the population. The FCC is pushing for a new "Super Wi-Fi" to blanket the US ... deploy i.e FORCE wireless service everywhere "so powerful and broad in reach that consumers could use them to make calls or surf the Internet".

Way back long ago, at least according to Darwin, your ancestors were monkeys.

The more intelligent among them learned to avoid stupid things and common dangers and over a long period of time, created the human race.

Avoiding things that can cause damage to one's person or one's family is the sign of intelligence, not stupidity.

Your comments prove that not everyone has sufficiently evolved to the point of recognizing and avoiding unnecessary danger. And forcing that same level of stupidity upon everyone reeks not only of stupidity but also of tyranny.

William Schneider, the Attorney General of Maine is seeking to file criminal charges against Central Maine Power and the Public Utilities Commission for several reasons. Here is a sampling of statements from Schneider’s letter:“I will be seeking criminal charges based on their charging coercive fees to avoid the actual and or threat of harm from smart meters … the imposition and mandatory installation of a radiation emitting device on one’s home avoided only by payment of coercive fees, is a problem the seriousness of which has not been seen in many years … it is the partial intent (along with eliminating meter reader costs) of the PUC and of CMP to control and capture extraordinarily detailed personal data from ratepayers as well as control real ratepayer property where the meter is installed … the harm and threat of harm come from: emission of RF radiation know to create adverse biological effects, invasion of privacy, compromising of personal cyber security … how can the PUC fulfill its legislative mandate to ensure safe delivery of power when the agency specifically refused to investigate and reach determinations on issues of health, safety, cyber security, and privacy …”
Similar actions are occurring in other states. In 2012 Hawaii changed their mandatory requirements to an opt-in one after a lawsuit. In Connecticut, the state declined a request from the largest utility to install 1.2 million smart meters based on the argument that the potential savings in electric bills do not justify the cost.

Way back, 30 years before asbestos was in insulation and everywhere, it was known that people who worked around asbestos developed cancer. The handful of people who knew this, ignored it...for the sake of decades of huge profits. So here we have "smart" meters with emissions that have been known for 30 years or more to be harmful and to cause cancers and we have more than 2000 studies and the harmful effects the emissions. And we have greed ready to commit mass murder ..again... And even trying to actually FORCE three (3) smart meters on every building in the world..and chips in every appliance ..and dozens of "smart" meters on every apartment building.
(hmm 3 smart meters costing $200 -$500 each on every building in the world ..how many trillion $$$$$$$$$$>)
Just won't happen this time...too many people are aware of the horrible damage from smart meters...and if the corporations lose billions of dollars...it's what they deserve. You can see by the quality of the "smart" meter defense on this forum ..that "smart" meters are doomed.

Aber has done a tremendous amount of research on the subject of the effects of RF on cells and cell regeneration.

Unlike the one-sided research put forth by the utility companies, the research collected by Aber includes studies from independent medical scientists from all over the world.

The interesting thing about industry-funded studies - they usually find exactly what the industry wants them to find.

Open your eyes, WFO. You are on the wrong side of this argument.

Hmmmm, I don't think that I know better than everyone else - I'm not the one forcing everyone to submit to a known carcinogen just for the sake of convenience.

If someone is sold on the benefits of the technology, let them opt in. If someone doesn't wish to participate, let them opt out.

I agree. Some things are for the common good.

However I have seen nothing that puts SMART meters in that category. OG&E is not the government nor is it a municipality or a state. Citizens are allowed input on the government level. Not everyone always gets everything that they want, but there is a forum for discussion and argument.

SMART meters were never brought to the public, were never argued before the house or senate. In areas where the municipality provides electricity, such as Edmond, SMART meters are soundly defeated.

This is nothing more than corporate greed playing politics to increase earnings at the expense of the health, privacy and security of citizens.

This has nothing to do do with adjusting to the present. It is about preventing the encroachment of corporate tyranny.
