and rope is cheaper than guns, tazers, and lawsuits. do the math.
even a child can put a rope on a wrist or an angle and pull it on a winch strung high in the air... ya think? what do you think,
a person hung upside down by his ankle is pretty much immobile. pretty much, did I mention, pretty much?
Sorry, I don't think you are offering a viable solution to reducing crime.

If your neighbors have lots of manners, why are the cops called in the first place? Why are the police there...domestic abuse? Drugs? Robbery? Burglary? Illegal Aliens?

If they weren't doing something wrong, the cops would not be dealing with them. If they had manners, they wouldn't be fighting or resisting arrest when the police showed up.

I'm thankful we are not neighbors.

This has to be one of the most bizarre conversations I've ever had on here. Ropes?! Have you ever dealt with someone jacked up on drugs? I have seen them break leather restraints when I worked in the ER, and had one that we thought would literally tear his hands off straining against his handcuffs. He dislocated both wrists. And your solution is to send our officers to roping school?! Good grief. Wake up and join the real world.

Show me the reports that say the taser is the sole cause of death.

Resisting arrest? Yeah you're going to get Tazed...Duh.
If you're getting arrested why make it harder on yourself by resisting?
You're going to jail regardless.

Resisting doesnt mean your fighting its a bullshit excuse for cops to arrest or tase you. People get arrested for resisting and there is no other charge.

Cops are too busy these days. Meanwhile jaray Wilson is still missing and it seems they are just sitting on their hands. We gotta find this kid.

We used to use rope and it was outlawed! I love seeing a perp get tazed. As others have said, don't break the law, don't resist, you won't get tazed. Sometimes a good old beatdown is warranted too.

lol, I like to see a cop try to subdue a lion or a horse with a tazer.

ME TOO, I like to see a cop try to subdue a lion or a horse with a tazer.
