How many people have to die before the use of this device is banned? Police are murdering people with the use of this weapon, then they go on a paid vacation. There is no justification for these murders.

Hopefully stupid people will think twice before they do a crime!!

No Dmont, no crime has to be committed to be tasered. It gives cops a way to kill you. You was just resisting, bam zap , oh sorry we killed you, now give us our paid leave. Tasers do not deter crime, get real.

On rare occasions, I believe a taser could be used inappropriately. In most instances, I believe a crime has been committed. Most policeman are not out to kill people.

Resisting arrest? Yeah you're going to get Tazed...Duh.

If you're getting arrested why make it harder on yourself by resisting?

You're going to jail regardless.

tazers killed several of my friends AND Neighbors,

it is a torture device,

we do not tazer animals,

we give them tranquilizers, and we rope horses,

lol, I like to see a cop try to subdue a lion or a horse with a tazer.

What were your friends and neighbors doing that warranted being tazered?

acting like wild animals. and resisting arrest.
like I said, tazing a wild animal only punishes and tortures, it will not tame them. nor will it make it safer for our officers.

Punish and torture is good if they are resisting arrest. Think they learned anything?

If you are running with friends and neighbors that like to taunt law enforcement, maybe you need to find another circle of friends before you get caught in the crossfire! If you hang around, you're "guilty by association". In other words,"I didn't rob the bank,I only drove the getaway car" Yea right, Wise up and move on before it's too late. Peace!

It's funny. If the police shoot someone, everyone says "why didn't they use a tazer" but if they taze someone they gripe too. You just can't please people these days. How about these people quit breaking the law and act like civilized citizens! Maybe that's where the real problem lies. Just a thought...

I am friends with my neighbors, and my neighbors are my friends but nobody said I was running with them, and I am not guilty of anything, or are you looking for some good old fashion entertainment of watching me get tortured by a tazer. perhaps you should move into my neighborhood, and get a front row seat of the action, or we can arrange for you a bed in the neighborhood prison, although they would have to put you on a waiting list because they are all booked up this month,[it's a real popular place] down home cooking [served right on time every-time]and you don't even have to clean up your mess. A good o' boy never had it so good.

Lie down with dogs, get up with fleas is what I believe the poster was expressing. I'm sure he would also pass on living in your neighborhood. The prison statement is ludicrous, and certainly off-topic.

y
funny, is it?
maybe they should do them a favor and treat them like dogs,
the dog pound does not shoot or taze, they use ropes with a pole, cowboys use rope from two different angles. it works real good,

civilized citizens don't have guns to shoot police. if they had a gun then tazer or a gun then self-defence would be reasonable, yet we don't want them thinking that shooting someone just because they have a gun is ok, after all police approach us with a gun and a tazer and we don't shoot them,
But these people were not using a gun or tazer on the police.Maybe the pac man trained young rookies need to get braver and more skilled like a cowboy and use some manners and a rope..

So, now you are advocating spending money to train officers to use a lariat and spend additional money on ropes. Sounds like a waste of time and money to me.

If your friends and neighbors had any manners, they wouldn't be getting tazed.

the police lost on the lawsuit over the tazer with the family of the man who lost his life.
and rope is cheaper than guns, tazers, and lawsuits. do the math.
even a child can put a rope on a wrist or an angle and pull it on a winch strung high in the air... ya think? what do you think,
a person hung upside down by his ankle is pretty much immobile. pretty much, did I mention, pretty much?
