MAN. I WAS SO WRONG ABOUT TIES PLACE. I paid $50.00 for a lesson, all I learn how to do I brush a horse and tie a knot. THATS IT,$50.00 FOR THAT! Also, I got yelled at by the guy that runs the place. For no reason.(I am not kidding there was not reason of it) I left there and I never wanted to go back. They also have this rule that if you horse does anything but walk you will be charged $50.00. One ride they will make your horse run but the next week if the horse goes to fast they want to charged me and my friends.(makes no sense)
I went on a night ride once and It was raining they left me behide 20 mins. The time I got back people that was on the ride had left.

I am a person that trys to over look things. but I can't anymore. I would not sent one to ride her, not my worst enemy. I mean that!!!!!!!!!!

This place is a joke. Whatever you do don't buy from these crooks.
We bought a horse that was supposed to be trained over the summer. The horse was never touched. After waiting 3 months, we just went and picked up the horse. I don't mind paying for stabling but it would be nice if they didn't starve him.
When I asked about training the manager said" well you can lead him around." We could already do that.
Buyer beware.

The little girl is my daughter and Donnie ripped us off on a horse that was supposed to be ready to ride. She was hurt. Real good place.
And the weird is called Selective Mutism. Please look it up

I took my most prized posession to ride. Muy 6 yr old grandaughter, son and self. I was very apprehensive at first, but Donnie was a true Cowboy. He took the lead on my grandaughter and told us what to do. He has a hard job trying to deal with the various people. Experienced or not I couldnt have found a better place to ride.

Purelabor-

I was wondering about you all the last time I went out to ride. I had no idea what happened. Is she okay??

This is Rebecca, who used to ride BJ.

I am sorry someone made a thoughtless comment about your sweet kid. I really like her. She reminded me of myself at that age, a little girl who loves horses and would do anything to be around them.

I am riding Sunday with an outfit that has Peruvian Paso horses. I'm pretty excited about that!

We went twice - the first time was quite nice. Donnie seemed like a gentleman and was patient with my son. The second time he was a complete jerk that made obscene comments and clearly had no reguard for the children on the ride. The horse pulled the reigns out of my sons hands more than once, trotting one of the times causing my son to panic and all Donnie did was yell at him making it worse. Then Donnie made some crack about putting my son on a diet and not taking him to the Golden Coral. This place has great potential but its not a place I would ever take my child again! Hey Donnie: Rule #1 when you are asking a single mother out to dinner, don't insult her child. Geez....

All in all this is a pretty good place to go. Donnie is a little rough around the edges in some ways, and sometimes can come off as being a little rude, but some of this is to get you to do what you need to do on the horse. If you have tender feelings, yes, you might be insulted. If you are thick skinned and understand that he is just trying to help you ride proper (part of which is to make sure his horses are treated proper) then you will have a good time. Every day he probably has 10 to 50 riders come out... not a lot of time to coddle people. You just gotta keep in mind what he has to go through, and if you understand that, you'll understand how he is...
