Well, may you both rot in the depths of hell for doing such a terrible thing. You covered Lisa's terrible mistake, so you are just as resposible.

This is so appalling. I'm just desperate to ask these people why didn't they just say to the child protective services "we can't handle Ricky"" we don't like Ricky" "The money were getting for him isn't worth it." I would classify them as Monsters. The kind of people you have nightmares about. I hope they have a great time in prison where people get hurt by other prisoners.

We need a complete overhaul of the CPS SYSTEM. Nothing is consistent and all too many times we have to read heartsickening stories, such as this. The state needs to come down on the social workers who are ineffective in doing their jobs. Kids are needlessly put through more torture by these individuals that for a better explanation have either an exaggerated sense of self importance or need therapy themselves. Do a better job at the hiring phase. Get these people tested so you can find out if they really are qualified for the most important jobs you are hiring them for. Then, perhaps, a child may have a chance when they unfortunately, wind up in the "system". Our country, as a whole, failes miserably at protecting these kids that have NO adults they can depend on including CPS. Need I say more??

This breaks my heart. Im am so sick about it :o( . Thank GOD that the other children are out of their care. Too bad nothing was done before an innocent child was murdered. What a precious boy. Maybe the good LORD knew hed be much better off not living with those evil parents of his. Who knows. Im just sick about it. Those people need to suffer something terrible.May Ricky rest in peace and know that he is in good hands now.

Has anyone listened to what Mitt Romney has been saying in his debates and town hall meetings? He discusses the FAMILY and the importance of keeping families strong and healthy, creating families from marriage, etc. Its the basics that we need to focus on. This little guy may have been a handful but there are those who are trained to handle young chaps like this...we just need to find them and get people trained. I'm sure that their horrible treatment only made his behavior exponential. This is a tragedy for that little guy. I am so disgusted.

Beyond Ricky (not meant to be for these killer parents): Too many times we have parents that cannot handle their children...sometimes it is a lack of parenting and sometimes its medical...maybe just a bad seed to begin with...but, where can these parents turn? We need a place where these children can go to revisit basic behavioral traits required to function as a respectable member of a family and society. Parents need help before the children become criminals...or victims.

Let me first say how much my heart crys for all the things that Ricky had to go thru, I know that he is safe and happy now with God.

You know the storie talks about Ricky being diffucult but was he really??? Or was it the torture that he was put thru and maybe it was his way of coping. I am not so sure he had all those "mental" problems that were stated. He was being abused mentaly and physcally very day! Wouldn't you have acted out too at that age in some way or another.

I feel he would have been a normal happy boy if not for the horriable treatment and lack of judgment for parents.

My heart goes out to Ricky and his siblings and hope for them a better life.
