Finally! The addition of birth control to this list is the best decision anyone could have made. By making birth control available inexpensively, we can reduce the number of unplanned pregnancies and alleviate a huge burden on public assistance programs. As long as people are willing to take the drugs, of course. It may be a marketing scheme, but it's fantastic!

I live in Greenville, MI and my little town is really suffering. I have health insurance with a copay for my perscriptions but still they cost so much! And with insurance, you almost have to work for the insurance company to be able how to figure out how to get your maximum benefit from them. Some are cheaper to have filled through the mail order pharmacy (which is Walgreens) and I pay $30. for 90 days, my birth control is generic and if I have that filled at a Walgreens store I pay $15. for 90 days worth, then all the other drugs I have filled at Wal-Mart for $4. a month or $12. if I get 90 days.
I took my Wal-Mart $4. list to my doctor and had him swich all my drugs to ones on the list.
I urge anyone who has to take maintenance drugs to ask their doctors to swich then to ones on the list.
Maybe this will also spur the drug companies into lowering their prices or drugs.....how can they possibly compete with $4.?
I'm so glad to see they have added to the list and hopefully will contnue to update and add other drugs to the $4. plan in the future. Way to go Wal-mart!

Funny-I have no idea why it says I'm from Des Moines, IA? I live outside the city of Greenville but in Kent County-not Montcalm. And they blocked a word...the word was t-o-w-n. Odd.
