How do they determine that it was suicide, was there a note? They need to at least report a little more than what they did.

Are you saying "Humpty Dumpty was pushed" ?

I heard that there was a not left on an open bible with a large sum of money delegating the distribution of the funds among family members. Also, she was living with a chronic physical illness that she had been suffering with for a long time. She is at peace now and obviously was a smart woman. She achieved her goal as selfish as some seem it was, it was what she wanted......

I was there the evening this happened. I heard the same thing as the "innocent bystander". I also heard she had pics of her family spread out in her room. My question, why die such a violent death? The scene was horrific. Much prayer is needed for the family.

Report or not? That's a tough one. Since I was there it made me ask, was she pushed, did she fall or did she jump. In other words, should I be afraid or do I only need to have compassion or both.We didn't know if there was a killer on the loose. The police weren't talking.

We had teachers in our school come back from the reading conference having seen this woman fall and the aftermath. They reported that her body was in two different pieces. Rumors around the conference were that she was terminally ill and chose to end her life. Others were that she called her husband before jumping. Those are all rumors but what our teachers said they will never forget is that there were families and children where she fell and they were wondering how you console a child that has seen that? they said the image of her body being in two pieces would be something that would be hard to forget. I feel so sorry for all involved.

That's horrible...she's hopefully in a better place though. Anybody know what story she was on?

Newspapers and TV generally don't report on suicides, that's why only the people there knew what happened. It was late around 11:30pm on a school night. I don't recall seeing any children. I could be wrong though. I didn't see her jump but I did see her right after. As an adult, the image is hard to forget so I couldn't imagine a child having to deal with that. There weren't alot of people around, thank goodness.

Malik, do you not have any compassion, if not for the woman, for her family and children that have to deal with this now. I think it's very sad that people like you enjoy this sort of pain.

Its very unfortunate to see that people would be so low and judgmental to say mean comments like that. Do you know this beautiful woman or her awesome family like I do? Obviously you dont. There aren't words to describe what they're going through.
It is a blessing that she is no longer in pain and suffering, please continue to pray for her family.

Her daughter is one of my best friends, before you make unnecessary and rude comments remember that was someone's wife and mother... you should spend time being thankful for your own life not making fun of someone's pain.. what her family is going through is indescribable... consider how you'd feel if this was your family... my prayers are with them and i love that family with all my heart

It is interesting how information is spread - Who told you about what was in her hotel room?
Yes, the scene was horrific- But think of her family having to deal with it - my prayers go out to them and to those to witness this scene

Thank you for the kind words. Malik, your words really hurt. Please understand she was a wonderful woman and we loved her so very much. She was in pain and she hurts no more. We miss her and everyday we live with the pain. No one understands how something so tragic can happen. We loved her and she will be missed by so many. We are truely sorry for those there that night. Our hearts break for you. It's sad that this can effect so many. Please, Please, we have suffered so much. Here children may read what your saying. This would really hurt them. Thank you for the prayers.

I feel sorry for the children who witnessed this. I saw the drowned body of a twenty year old when I was about seven and the image haunts me to this day. I cannot imagine seeing a person in two pieces.

I agree with "angel". Also to those who have commented they are praying for the family, thank you. I know members of this person's family and they certainly need all the prayers they can get. For you others who haven't had any kind words - you should be ashamed to post ugly things about a situation you know nothing about. This lady was a mother, wife, daughter, sister as well as friend to many. May our loving God have mercy on you that you would never have to know the kind of anguish and pain she was in, nor the pain her family and friends are enduring. I hope the next time you look in the mirror you take a good, long hard look at the person you are.....do you like what you see?
