Good on ya ch 6 - Troopers are people; not "its"!

While it's nice that you actually reported on this, unlike others in the area I must say: the trooper was injured and the headline is about I-64 opening again...the trooper injury is the most important part of the story. Also, I'm sure that while troopers would love to have little flashing lights to alert people to their location, I believe that the VEHICLE is the "it" that has flashing emergency lights.

ok we know about the trooper how about the other driver . Regardless about who cause the accident. The trooper was not the only person in the accident. Come TV 6. Why didn't you finish the story from the not just the trooper point of view.

Okay, I think everyone is missing the point...yes, it is indeed very sad that an individual was injured and possibly several others when it all could have been avoided. Might I add, that I hope that everyone is goign to be okay. But, I mean, were the bright blue flashing lights after midnight when it is pitch black,(such a completely contasting view) not enough for one to recognize and think uh, duh.....get over/switch lanes...or slow down, makes you wonder exactly what one is doing in such that they do not see the flashin lights which are visible for miles, or at least one; in order to take precautionary measures. Come on people it is time that we start using our brains, especially when it can ultimately affect ourselves and others! I would really like for you to follow up and let us know exactly what this moron was doing when the accident occurred.

all could have been avoided by jus moving over. now if we can just get more LEOs to enforce it and the judges to convict it
