These 2 douche bags need to have it done to them. those residents don't deserve that nonsense if they didn't want to work there see if they can get transfered to the nursing home or the adult home...

No those clients are more like disabled and sick! Whats ur excuse? It takes a special person to care for people in that type of facility but if your not one of them and cant handle the pressure of the job then get a new job!

FIRST THING IS YOU NEED TO REMEMBER THAT THERE ARE TWO SIDES TO STORY AND UH DOESNT, SO I TELL SOMEONE THAT THEY ARE DOING SOMETHING WRONG AND OF COURSE THEY CAN SAY I DID IT AND I CANT EVEN DEFEND MY SELF, AND UN TILL YOU TAKE CARE ODF THE PEOPLE THAT SHE DID YOU HAVE NO ROOM TO TALK THEY WOULD BIT YOUR FINGERS OFF OR YOUR EARS IF THEY COULD GET TO THEM SPIT IN YOUR FACE PULL YOUR HAIR BRAKE YOUR LEG HAND IT DOESNT MATTER! it shouldn't matter what the residents, not clients, did to the worker. there is a reason they are in the facility being taken care of. these people choose to work at these places, if they can't handle working under pressure of "out of control" residence, maybe they need to seek a new job!

I know from experience that UH management is a JOKE but every allegation of abuse needs to be taken seriously. Hopefully she didn't do what they are saying she did and if she didn't, then she will be fine.

I worked for UH for a long time, and I can tell the boss I had, didn't know me from the next person...So she didn't know how I treated the residents, how well I worked with my co-workers, or even if I did my job to the best of my ability...She knew that I didn't like the way she ran the building and tried every possibly thing to get me out. So if your boss can fabricate, why can't a fellow employee do the same...they don't look into things as well as they should. But for the record, I was a very loyal employee, I loved "my" residents and still do to this day!

And for the record, I bet you can perform your job duties and still be a "slut", that had nothing to do with taking care of mentally disabled individuals....

It is sad that to some people that job is only a paycheck....and those are the ones that get away with the abuse and neglect....

I worked with Steph years ago at an ICF, I don't believe any of this!! She is not a cruel or abusive person!! I believe there is too much vindictivness(sp) and revenge going on in UH!!

I absolutely agree with you. I have worked for UH in the past and I quit because they are so unfair and biased. I watched so many of my coworkers land in hot water for things they didn't actually do or for things that were blown way out of proportion because they stood up to someone in management. Basically if you act like a good little sheep and let them push you around, you've got job security. But try to stand up to them just once and you're done. I have known so many good employees who treated the residents with nothing but respect and took every measure to enable them to maintain as much independence and dignity as possible. But the higher ups don't really care about all that as long as they're not being too mistreated. I've also known people who were verbally abusive to residents. But they were suck ups so when you turned them in all they got was a meeting with the boss with no other actions taken. So, just go with the flow, be stuck up your bosses butt and you'll be fine. Don't fight the system though because Big Brother is watching.

That is exactly how it was, the way they transfer bosses around and they don't know who you are or anything else about you. I had 2 excellent PM's and then one horrific one...no names, but everyone knows who she is...Just by looking at her everyone in town knows her and allllll about her! I loved my job, but when changes were made everything normal and pleasant went right out the window:( Sad, because I loved those residents like my own family!

first of all clients what the hell.these are real elderly people at united helpers.if you didnt want to take care of them then why the heck are you doing this kinda work .do you honestly think these people want to be in the nursing home no ! would you treat your own parents ,grandparent with disrespect or abuse no .any one that abuse or neglect these peole need to have their licence taking away .i worked in a nursing home for many years and all so worked in their homes and I just adore the elderly.these people dont deserve to be abused or treated in any bad way.i seen so many workers in such a hurry to get their care over so they can go have a frigan cigarette or go make a phone call to their spouses or bf /gf.and yes it takes a real good person to care for them .so dont treat them like animals !so all i have to say to this bs if you cant take care of these people like human beings and stop treating them like they dont care get out of the job .people that abuse elderly deserves to rot in h**l.

wild animals who the hell do you think pays your wages in the nursing home ! these elderly people that live in united helpers do .they pay ourages amount of money to live there .you people make me sick .you think its easy for these elderly people they give up every thing when they go to a nursing home .you should be ashame of your self calling them animals .yeah some a alot harder to care for but they are still human beings just like you and me !there are many workers that do great jobs taking care of them but there a a few that are just there cause its a job to them nothing more .I hope someday when you get to the age and have to be placed in one you get treated the way these abused ones do .how can you live with your self calling them animals !

i was injured in a nursing home do I hold it against the residents that live there no .if any thing I hold the employer for my injury .and as for being biten hair pulling or any injury's well you must of known what you were getting into by working at a nursing home .you people just work there by choice its your choice to be there .but as for these residents they were put there for a reason .if you guys cant handle the job then get out find another job thats more fitable to your standards.I know one thing I would never ever put my love ones in a nursing home not with idiots like you all out there working there ..

They didn't work at the nursing home. Both those people worked at IRA houses. Not saying its right either way but stop bashing the nursing home I have family there and everyone treats them awesome one bad person doesn't ruin a place that employees over 100 people c'mon, hospitals have bad seeds too.
