Dr. Ravelo, formerly employed by Canton-Potsdam Hospital was arrested on 6 felony counts and 1 misdemeanor count by Potsdam Police. Nicole Duve, SLCDA, disclosed that Dr. Ravelo had threatened hospital employees; hospital enhanced security measures for 6 days. she also disclosed that Dr. Revalo mixed up with some SUBOXONE issue. duve said,"It appears he (Ravelo) was acting as his own pharmacy." How does someone with 6 felony counts and a history of threatening people get probation supervision, and bail at $15,000. a review of the NYS Division of Probation and Correctional Alternatives website provides some interesting information on pre-trial release protocols and procedures. It would seem Duve and Jerry Richards "accomodated" Dr. Ravelo due to his "professional status." double stand here folks!

I love fredom of speech and freedom of expression. I use my rights daily. I just was informed by a very credible source that SLC DA Nicole Duve is going to interview or is it interrogate 2 canton potsdam hospital employees today; what was it, let's see, for a 2 hour block of time at 48 court street, regarding the huge scandal unfolding at the cp hospital, which is by the way, in her political backyard. Seems the mere mention of double standard and duve strikes a very painful nerve for this unopposed and "elected" public official. Stay posted....

This just in, Nicloe Duve, SLCDA, won't be the govt official questioning or interrogating the 2 Canton Potsdam Hospital employees afterall; it seems other "oversight" govt agencies are involved; again, Duve cannot bring herself to investigate in the area of her political base. Obviously, if this is true, it's evidence that she cannot extricate herself from the politics of it and do her job effectively. What are we paying you for Nicole? Also, I heard from credible sources that Canton Potsdam Hospital Administration personnel called these 2 hospital employees into "administrative offices" and "told" them to answer only "yes or no," and to not elaborate on any questions. I believe this constitutes witness tampering, obstruction of justice, and obstruction of governmental administration, not to mention conspiracy. What do you say now, DUVE? the hospital should have come clean immediately, and the procedures and rules are set for this game.

Track me track me track me-I love freedom of speech and freedom of expression. It's a tough one to ignore in any court, including those found in NNY

End of the week update: It seems the Drug Enforcement Agency sent one of its own to interrogate or question the two Canton-Potsdam Hospital employees at the SLCDA's Office yesterday. I understand that the questions were quite probing, and the answers provided both illumination and elaboration. Too bad, Nicole Duve couldn't do her job effectively. Dr. Ravelo is still free while charged with 6 felony counts and 1 misdemeanor count. Maybe just maybe, ravelo will take the Route 81 ride to 100 S. Clinton Street in Syracuse. It appears perhaps more charges will be filed very soon against Dr. Ravelo.

Selected excerpts, passages, and phrases from Sunday editorial 1/10/2010: It staggers my imagination that this doctor could have perpetrated the allegations leading to his arrest, and under the very noses of the Canton-Potsdam Hospital Administration. if one must point the finger, it begs the question--who was in charge? What did they know? When did they know it?" It will be interesting to see, hear, and read what senior administrative personel have to say when questioned by DEA and NYSDOH investigators. As I understand it, that scenerio will be very soon. I agree with the author of the editorial on the necessity for a NYS Comptroller's audit of the monies flowing through the clinic Ravelo supervised. If you ask me, it looks like rats on a sinking ship. Good luck floating "plausible deniability and finding a scapegoat."

makes one wonder if perhaps someone in Canton was afraid it may come out that they were a patient of this doctor, seeing he dealt with patients with addictions. so by allowing him to be able to leave the county there was always the possiblity he may return to his native country, which was where he ran too when he left CPH...This way no one would be the wiser

If he was ever a user, he's now had time to clean himself. Other people charged with 6 felony counts are not treated or should I say "accomodated" in the same way in SLC. this is about class--professional class. There are many unanswered questions I would like to ask Nicole Duve and Jerome Richards not to mention the CPH Board of Directors and its other administrative oficers. How far does this dscandal go?

Looks like DEA Special Agent Timothy Sinnigen is working hard for the taxpayers; many hope that your investigation sheds some much needed light on the people administering our hospitals in NNY; at minimum, the senior administrators at CPH should be ousted, and the board of Directors and officers should think about resignation as well. the issues afflicting CPH go to the very top. Keep digging Mr. Sinnigen, your efforts are much appreciated.

This just in, mid-week update on Ravelo; perhaps the "re-arrest" option is on the table for the good doctor; maybe soon he will be taking that long ride to see the federal magistrate spoiling the sham grand jury in the loco county; and, it seems senior hospital administrators must answer tough questions before the DEA investigator--stand tall before the man people! Smile and say, "Cheese!"

When will he be tried? When are they going to make him go to court and face all these charges for good? When will the hospital be faced?

Approximately one month ago, I believe Dr. Ramon Ravelo, formerly employed by the Canton-Potsdam Hospital, and charged with several felonies (5) and one misdemeanor, had his medical license revolked by the State of New York. It seems that Nicole Duve, SLC District Attorneys Office, wants to give Ravelo until August or so, to accept a sweet heart plea bargain where all the felonies are dropped to misdemeanor offenses. Come clean Nicole Duve, is this true or not? When if ever before, has the SLC DA's Office offered plea negotiations for multiple felonies on any other individual who was caught several times over nineteen people and counting cannot be wrong. I guess money talks over justice in SLC. Why are you waiting to prosecute this man? Will you allow the statutory times frames to elapse so the good doctor walks free? Seems your connections to the Canton-Potsdam Hospital and its current administration must be investigated foir conflicts of interest, isn't this so, Special Federal Prosecutor (indeed!)? How much money did you receive during your campaign run for DA from CPH and Ramon Ravelo? Lift your noses and smell the cabbage folks, because this one really stinks. Just another example of NNY corruption.

What about the Narcotics Bureau and DEA? They suddenly decided to walk away from this case, and let the DA decide the outcome of this case?

Seems the good doctor has relinquished voluntarily his right to practice medicine in NY. wonderful, isn't it? why yes, he was allowed to leave SLC with many many felony charges and continue to practice medicine unabated. does anyone really believe they would be treated this well in SLC? this was/is about class and dirty money. How much money went through the doors of his money mill? Who else fed at his trough? Nice very nice indeed!
