I was walking my dog around tonight and the first responders,rescue,opd all at 1000 pickering street.I heard one of the responders say a dresser fell on a 2yo boy,When they took the baby from the house he was doing cpr on him and said he was in full arrest.PRAY FOR THE CHILD AND FAMILY.

Yes Really i agree,Lets stick to the facts!!!! Topix should only be used to bash people,make up lies.SLUTS,DRUG ADDICTS_DEALERS and who's who.Let us not mention a tragic accident to a innocent child.I think this post should be used to pray for the family of this tragic accident.God Bless

Two-Year-0ld Ogdensburg Boy Suffocated By Dresser

The two-year-old Ogdensburg boy who died Wednesday night at home was suffocated when a dresser he was climbing fell over on him.

Adam S. Hadley, of 1000 Pickering St.., died of asphyxiation, St. Lawrence County Coroner Russell B, Lawrence III said this morning.

Mr. Lawrence said the boy was cllmbing the narrow, three-foot-high dresser in an upstairs bedroom when the furniture toppled.

"He was climbing up on it," Mr. Lawrence said. "The weigfht of the dresser fell on his chest in a manner that it suffocated him,"

An autopsy was performed on the boy Thursday at Claxton-Hepburn Medical Centter by pathologfist Dr.. Samuel Livingston

If my child was upstairs and I heard a loud crash, my first reaction would be to see what happened.
Not saying there was any foul play, but something sounds wrong.
Go ahead and beat me up on this one.

The child might have been dead before anyone had a chance to say boo. Funny things happen when heavy or fast-travelling objects strike a child`s chest which cause a momentary electrical disturbance in the conductance of the heart`s electrical system. It causes ventricular fibrillation that is almost always fatal for a child that age.
