so just so u are aware, i have NEVER wrote a statement against anyone, Nor do i know wtf happened to that man. And for everyone blaming victor, he is doing 9 years right now. You people need to grow up. Do i think mike thorpe is capable of killin someone absolutely not. I do know that drugs make you do stupid things, if they did or didnt do it is not for me to say, nor is it any of my business. Kerri who ever you are know your facts beofre you run your mouth.

this award goes out to Mike Thorpe ;) he's such a wonderful father that his kids have been with his mother and Karen's kids went to a foster home... why would this be? I know its because he's such a great dad GTFOH!!!! would any of you Thorpie lovers wanna explain y the hell the cops were at his door about this the same very night this MURDER took place... its neither here nor there that the man should/shouldn't be selling drugs, your right he shouldn't have but that doesn't give these SCUMBAGS the right to go "rob" him and in the result of it all was his death. Krusty you should talk abt ppl getting a life ;) practice what you preach!!!! You spread like butter on a hot summer night, u should be charged with murder for killing your unborn child!!! I have seen the cops go to Karen and Mike's door on hasbrouck street after they moved from ford hmmm his name was never in the paper after either he was being questioned OR he was signing statements... funny how that works huh anyone can point fingers at others for signing statements! I could go on and on and on but will end now that I've rattled your cage!!! I feel bad for the kids that are involved as drug addiction is a horrible thing for kids to go through as innocent as they are, they should NOT be sujected to this kind of behavior!!! Have ya ever heard " ya do the crime ya do the time" its about time things unfold and this heads in the right direction... our town is being OVER-Run by dealers, abusers and neglected children because parents are either too messed up to care for them or they make them fend for themselves....oh yeah I can't forget the kids that go hungry because their parents sell all their foodstamps for drug money!!! Should we keep going?

Wow cant even post your name? I really dont care what you think of me I know the truth and that is all that matters. You calim to know so much about the cops being at my brothers house and stuff are you the one sending them there? Michael may have his share of drug problems and Inwill not deny that. I also will deny he shoul have not been there to Rob or even buy drugs because none of us really knows what he was there for. But I do know he dis not hit anybody nor push anyone. Yes I agree with drugs doing things to peoples mind but He remebers that whole night and he did not touch him or was in that house when he was dead. When he was there was by himself and was to get pills and he left with him alive. I believe my brother and if you saw him or knew him you also would believe him. This just shows that people are judmental on everthing they read in the paper or see on the news. As for you Jenn Victor did testify and sign statements on Michael and they will all be brought out in the trial.

I was Driving Down FORD STREET when I saw Wescott getting out of the car,(r u still w/ me) and walk to the door then he knocked on the door...ya still there? I understand the shock of your brother going to jail for such a horrible thing and his loved ones being in shock but its called DENIAL!!! I also have to laugh when peoplecommit crimes in front of others and then whine about statements being signed.... so let me get this right if you were being charged for the same shit these guys are and I was there too you wouldn't SIGN a STATEMENT on me? bahahaha ur crazy cause I also know ur a cop callin PIG ;) hows that for a lil of what I think abt your big mouth? I know y your brother was at this house this same very night he died it was because he was playin go fish and drinkin coffee huh? You are as dumb as you look aren't you have a wonderful night my friend!!! Nighty night don't let the bed bugs bite <3 your friend, Yvonna Humpalot

Okay so I've been pretty damn nice on this considering there is shit on here saying hes a waste of flesh. Half of you f*cking people that are running Mike down have no idea who the f*ck he is but of course your gonna fucking judge him based on what the news said which if you even listened to the news it hasn't said he did it. You people make me sick you have nothing better to do then run people down to make yourself feel better. Mike didn't have to tell us that he didn't do it we just trust that he didn't by knowing him. Most of you people on here are probably crack head deadbeats that have nothing to do with their time!! Oxley was accused of killing someone and look what happened he was innocent but you fucking retards would say that he did it still because thats what you hear. Another thing none of you have anything to talk about when you can't even use your real names. One thing i can say is that he is an amazing father i know that first hand can anyone who is running him down say that?! No didn't think so!!
He had nothing better to do then beat and rob, then kill an elderly man, just to make themselfs feel high. Sorry, no mercy here. We may be crackheads and the such, but we are not facing murder charges, now are we. He wasn't thinking of his kids when he went to gene's, now was he, nope, just thinking about getting high.

Curious how they are going to make murder charges stick when even the guy that lived with him said that it was the act of him falling on him that actually killed the old man. Are they saying that they pushed his roommate on him and that act is what caused his death? Either way, they must pay for robbing an elderly old man. They should be ashamed of themselves!

Oh wow I really waih you would post your name. I am not saying he should not pay for robbing the guy I am saying that he did NOT murder anyone. Also how can you get 40 statements witch not 1 story matches out if it was only the 3 of them the roommate and the old guy in the house? You cant and knowbody but them really will never no what happend. We all know that Michael is far from perfect but there is no way he touched that old man. As for me being the cop caller is f*cking funny but then again you sound like a DRAMA w*ore that loves the drama. But you have the right to believe what you want to even if it makes other laugh.

are you retarded. the autopsy report showed multiple blows to the chest. like an 86 year old man could withstand that. maybe poor gene was unconcious when guy fell on him. either way it was listed as a botched robbery which means that none of them were there to kill the old man but it happened anyway. these bastards are guilty because they ran and didn't turn it in, just because blunt force trauma is listed as the cause of death doesn't mean he died instantly either. they may have had a chance to save his life. they might have gotten lesser charges if it didn't take opd almost 2 years to track down the truth. junkies do crazy things for their fix including accidentally killing people. unfortunately all three of these dirtbags have the potential to be murderers or they would not be where they are.

It was not just Victor Gardner that signed statements on Mike. There are plenty of other people did to and I know for a fact Jenn Austin is one of them. All of these statement are all jammbled up there is no way they are going to hold up. I don't believe Mike is capable of murder. Robbery yes but to even touch an old man NO WAY and anyone who knows Mike knows he is a lover. I also think Karen has something to do with it. I seen her today and she was all smiles and laughing with her son. She is a pig poor Thorpie.
keep my boyfriend and his mother out of this shit your a lowlife scum you know why she was laughing and all smiles Bc she was talking about my babyshower and her grandson and she hasn't seen jonathon in awhile Bc we have been busy didn't know it was a crime to spend time with her daughter in-law and son so what she was having a laugh shes upset about it yeah I may not really care for Thorpe that much but Karen is the grandmother to my son and a mother to the person I want to spend the rest of my life with but don't run your damn mouth if you have no clue what the hell your talking about you peice of shit on ogdensburgs streets:)

well miss criminal justice i happen to know a little about it myself since i have already taken it and am now in nursing. forensics has ways of proving who was there and what order they were there in. yes they are innocent until proven guilty. if you pulled your head out off your ass and read what i wrote it says that these junkies have the POTENTIAL to be murderers and yes mike is a junkie. please do not snub the rest of our intelligence by trying to deny this. i also stated that they may have been able to save the old mans life if they weren't so worried about gettin gone and doing those oxy's they robbed him of. if it was an accident they could have gotten charged with negligent homicide or even manslaughter but no these assholes ran and hid it so they get straight up murder charges. after all the criticism opd got for their messed up investigation of wayne oxley i'm pretty sure they followed the books on this one. not to mention nicole duve has her own reputation to protect after her follies in the court room, they have to wait for her call since she is the d.a. i'm sure since it took almost 2 years to arrest these guys there was more than just circumstantial evidence to prove that thses 3 men were the last to see gene alive. why don't you go back to your criminal justice books little girl and learn your place. you are far from an investigator while you are still taking criminal justice.

There is a law called a felony murder doctrine which states if a death takes place while a felony is taking place the person committing that felony will also be charged with murder .

There were mutiple blows to the chest, but he died from blunt force trumma to the abdomen. Gene did not die at the apartment, he died at the hospital. It does not matter if he touched him or not, he was there to do a felony, and it went very wrong. Sorry to say this, but may all three rot in hell.

Oh don't give me this crap about innocent untill proven guilty, he was guilty the second he robbed him. It does not matter how many people went in and out. It is these three robbing, murdering, scum. I also believe that after the trial and they are found guilty, you will still try to say he was innocent, but he was not. So get over the denial and get on with your life, they have lost thiers, and so did gene. You must face reality.

He fell because there was a struggle trying to prevent a robbery. No robbery, no struggle, no death, no murder charge. But there was a robbery, a struggle, a death, and three murder charges. It is to bad you people don't like it, but I am pretty sure gene isn't liking it either.
