ticketing and/or arresting people for marijuana possession is a waste of taxpayer dollars.

You said it- so many real criminals running around. I thought everything was on a tight budget- imagine the resources we could conserve if we adopted even just a relaxed attitude toward it- For example, in Vancouver, BC, Canada, it is illegal but law enforcement does not care about personal use unless you are being stupid about it, like allowing kids to do it or selling it in public. People actually smoke in parks or on the sidewalks as they walk, the police drive by and as long as things are peaceful there is no issue. Lol they are more worried about drunk hockey fans than smokers :)

@ sure is...well put. Not to mention alcohol is far worse on your health both short term and long term. Marijuana has medical BENEFITS...such as for pain, depression, insomnia, migranes, slows onset of alzheimers, helps people with ocd, add, adhd, tourettes, ms increase appetite for cancer patients, glaucoma, slows tumor growth.
BUT, because marijuana is harder to regulate by GOVERNMENT, alcohol is legal and marijuana isn't. Its as simple as that. The government doesnt want to admit they were wrong, that they lied about how marijuana effects you both during the "high" and medically.
As with any drug, people will abuse it just like all these pills the fn government makes. Pills are ruining kids/young adults. Stick to weed. Its a natural medicine that God made, not some scientist.:)

Are you serious or just stupid? He is a role model to the kids and having your name in the paper for possession of marijuana is not cool. If my kids were being coached by him I would be pissed! Statements like yours reinforces to me what is wrong with society.

Its safer than any drug the "government" makes.
Go smoke your ciggs and drink your alcohol and die.
Marijuana is illegal for monetary/control reasons. government needs to control it and make profit off of it. Government is a twisted business out for themselves.
What ever

Everything you were told or taught about marijuana is wrong , it one of the safest substances you can use , an it will never kill you it's safer than most foods , it's safer than toothpast , it was made illegal on the backs of lies an racism .
