how can it get tighter? I cant have a high capacity clip, folding or sliding stock, grenade launcher, pistol grip, or burst fire or full auto. If i want to carry a handgun i need to pay a non refundable $120 for he aplication and then wait a year to actually get it. Wth are they gonna do next? Can only use rubber bullets?

Mentally unstable people shouldn't have guns like you, friend. Handguns you wait, but riffles and auto's are different. All weapons should have a 400 dollar fee and extensive background check. This is a start. If a gun owner has a warrant this guns must be taken away. If he / she has a felony, same deal. This is a start.

All of these gun laws are part of a huge plan by the united nations and world bankers to take over the planet. as sad or crazy as it sounds take a look around. we are all scraping by because our own govt drove our montary system into the ground. they are taking our GOD GIVEN rights and freedoms away. they have also completely defaced our constitution. this is much more than tightening up laws.read between the lines.

Me thinks these words are another example of someone who is not mentally fit to own and use any kind of weapon. And if you go against the government you will lose. If the government says, give me your weapons do what our fair and beautiful government dictates. It's your God GIVEN RIGHT to leave America NAZI

Really, because of a warrant, what if the warrant is just for missing a court date, for a traffic ticket. If a gun owner has a warrant, that means he has not been arrested yet. If you can't arrest the person, how are you going to get his guns. What if he does not tell you where the guns are. What if they are not at his home. What happens after the warrant has been executed, and he has been arrested, does he get his guns back then. What good would 400 dollars do?

They are already talking about a tax on guns- like in England, they dont deny you the right to have a rifle or shotgun, but you must pay a yearly tax one each gun you own- a small amount for the wealthy, I think its around $1500 each-and thats annually, but it sure disarms the poor quickly! Watch out for this one- I am sure they will try to slip it in a bill somewhere-start out like Canada by having to register every weapon you own and be fined if you don't, then start taxing them.Debt problem solved!

I like the tax on all weapons, perhaps, our efficient vice president will ensure this aspect of the country's pending new gun law bill will be included. I sincerely hope if each state doesn't obey this federal law, federal funds will be reduced or held accountable.

The silliness of the situation is that the stricter laws will only affect the people that obey the laws in the first place. Why punish the people that are law-abiding? The majority of gun-related violent acts were committed by criminals that bought or obtained guns illegally...not by those people that purchased a gun legally. I hear people say that stricter laws will help remove guns from the streets...but guess what...that will only remove the guns from the law-abiding citizens. The criminals and low-lives will still have theirs.

Let them show their anti-American beliefs Missy... People are killed each day by guns and the answer (from pro-gun nuts) for this solution are to hoard more weapons, blame everyone (but pro-gun nuts) for the murders guns help cause, deregulate the current gun policies, threaten domestic terrorism if new gun regulations are bill as law, and of course misinterpret The bill Of Rights- in my book if you misinterpret one admendment to fit a perception all 10 become faulty as well.

all of you dumb a$$es need to do some research before you run your mouths. fbi satistics PROVE assult weapons are very rarely used in violent crimes. the assult weapon didnt kill all of those children in conn. a fu*ked up brain did! second of all the 2nd ammendment isnt intended to protect hunters and outdoorsman. it is to protect us from a taranical govt and street thugs. congress needs to wake up. when govts take guns they alaways do it the same. first there will be a nationwide registration and then confinscation. youtube alex jones and piers morgan cnn live. no one gives a sh*t about all of the innocent civilans overseas that have been murdered by our militarys assult rifels. many innocent bystanders have been accidentally killed. i dont see the govt trying to take the soldiers guns? the us govt is way to far in everyones business. support these ridiculas politicians for gun control and aid in the fall of america retar*s.
