After spending two tours in Iraq, I finally have been able to enjoy my oldest son's football games. It was really nice to play Ogallala and have such an exciting game. What was glaring in it's lack of presence was sportsmanship by the Ogallala children at the game. A group was kicked out for throwing things at McCook students, yet the came back into the game through another gate, I was booed for wearing a Bison shirt while entering the restroom and the Bison sticker on the back of my vehicle was vandalised. I find it hard to believe that I ran into the only poor sports in Ogallala. It appears that the school, parents, coaches and teachers need to start teaching some leasons in proper sportsmanship.
