What else is Sacred Heart known for besides sports? Did they win the state academic decathlon? no Peru business contests? no

Leave it to some a**hole to be negative, even when the topic is positive.

well, its cool to win a game , but it won,t be on your transcript for college would it? I would rather have my children at a school that promotes academics. Its sad but i think S.H. believes that sports are much better than academic decathlons.

Don't try to defend SH anymore, anyone who knows better can let all the negative people just keep on. SH is proud of all of their accomplishments in everything they do. Some people are a little jealous when it comes to well rounded students. Keep it up Guys and Gals!!

If you don't have facts and arent willing to state them, then why comment? Unless you just want people to think that for reasons only of you being jealous.

FCSH is a small school, they cannot possibly have the same curricullum as bigger schools, so the children who attend the school are not as well rounded as other children. Also the diocese does not have the same amount of money as public schools. Yes , you will say that they have religion, but alot of the children and their parents don,t care, they care about winning,Always About winning all the time. Where is the academic decathlon at FCSH?

FYI!! The classes they don't offer at SH the kids can take at public school. They have the ability to take all the same classes as public.

went to catholic school too , alot difnow, no nuns they were mean but we managed. We managed so well that my high school,s alumni are billionairs, district judges and alot of priests and nuns. Our sports teams weren,t very good, but we remember the most about the famous science fairs a nun started. School musicals that were good. And praying the rosary at the grotto. I remember going to mass everyday when we were in grade school. I remember saving penneys for the poor. And the masses at the high school. these memories are alot better than who won what title.

By the way way I highly doubt Sacred Heart School wants your kids. And honestly who cares about acedemic decathalons? I can honestly say I don't know why SH doesn't boast about them. Apparently you were in one and what? You seem to care alot about them so please tell us so you can drop it. This forum was started to tell the girls good job!! Not to hear you spout [email protected]#T about the stuff we didn't start this forum specifically for. You wannna dog SH start your discussion and talk about how SH is so bad and how they are soo good at sports but can't read and are all jello headed retards with absolutely no mind. We have heard it all before for like the last 100 years it will never change but you go ahead and keep up the good work!!
Sorry Kids you are not all jello heads I needed to prove a point!

I can understand your point of view, however, you forget that team sports help to develop social skills that are extremely important in life. You can try and argue that academic decathlons do the same thing, but having personally been on both sports and academic teams I can tell you that it's not even close to the same thing. I'll even bring up a point about the decline of general health among young people today. Also, you're right that being on a sports team does not go on your transcript. It goes on the application to any college or graduate school. There wouldn't be interviews if all people cared about were test scores. So, next time you feel the need to belittle someone's accomplishments, don't. The only one who has to listen to your stupid little rants is your spouse.

I thought this was for commenting on high school volleyball, not Catholic-bashing.
