We need to do something to stop our young ones from receiving so much proselytizing in our schools. God does not belong in public education. And all the parents here that claim to be decent Americans ought to be ashamed of yourselves for allowing it. I plan to take this to the school board and I hope some of you will join me in voicing our concerns.

I couldn't agree more. Look at these forums for a perfect example of "christian taught children" from Bacon county. What a shame. They call each other names like "fag" and tell each other they want to fight. Then they spout bible verses at one another and condemn each other to hell! Beats all I've ever seen.

Thank you for your support. These pill head youth need to wake up, and focus on the real world and not some made up spiritual one. Again I think you for your support, and I will keep this post updated with petition information, as well as my meetings with the board.

To Concerned Alumni, if you think God is a "made up" spiritual being you better know for sure you are right in the end. If you are right you have lost nothing, but if you are wrong you have lost EVERYTHING! Are you sure?

If you are asking me to believe in God, as an insurance policy, than I will have to politely decline. If you are asking me whether I would rather treat people equally as human beings, and not how your christian god judges them, than yes I would rather do as I see fit. Which is to treat everyone with dignity and respect. If you think that the bible has anything positive to give to young impressionable minds, than you are part of the problem. Do not worry, soon, people like you will be a very small minority, and the world will be beter for it.

You are so ignorant. Look at the recent headlines as well as events all over this country. These communities took GOD out. Took him out of their lives and their schools. Is that what you want to happen here? This country was founded on GOD. His name is in our Pledge of Allegiance as well as printed on our money. If you don't like him, then you leave "Our God Fearing" country. I promise you won't be missed!!

Concerned Alumni, you didn't answer my question. Are you absolutely sure there is no God?

Those words were not added to our money or our pledge until the 1950's and the 1960's, so how is that the founding of this country you idiots.

Concerned Alumni, I thought you believed in treating people with dignity and respect? And what did you say about name calling? I think you have an anger issue, and you still didn't answer my question. But, that is ok, you just study on it and make sure that when the day comes and you will leave this earth that you are very sure you are right in your beliefs. I will leave you with that thought.

God is everywhere. Also, in the schools. Get a life. When you are burning remember that.

And if you think this is from god not being in the schools what does that say about your god. I have never read anywhere in the bible that you must let god into your schools, I have always seen it say you must let him into your heart. So what? Are you saying god did this to punish these children? And why didnt this just happen everyday since the the beginning of the separation of church and state. You logic is flawed, most likely coming from that Bacon County education.

You are all pawns in the game of religion. Continue on with your mundane lives sheeple. I feel sorry for these children in this school. Why not just let them come of a mature age then tell them about religion? Ahhh, because they would have common sense and call you out on your bullcrap.

Great job, actually. I make a very good living. My wife makes a very good living. I also receive pension from my time in the military. Together we make a little over 150k a year, which is decent for a young family. But, you just proved a point. You just made christmas out to be about money and presents for your children. Is that what your bible teaches. Again, bring on the morons. So I can slap them down like this clown.

What are you doing using upper case letters at the beginning of every word in your paragraph? Is that even a paragraph? It looks to me like a horrible run on sentence with terrible grammar. Was that statement about jacksonville a question? If so we have punctuation to show it. Its called a question mark. "Why don't move there, are"? What the hell does that even mean? You put commas in all the wrong places, caps in all the wrong places, and no periods whatsoever. Then you mis-spell "dumb" to insult someone else by calling them a "dumd ass". Wow what a fucking moron you are. Maybe you should pray to god for a sixth grade education?

By the way that is what we like to call a rhetorical question.
